Wednesday evening we went on a canal boat ride that started and ended in the Fuzimiao (Confucius temple) area.
January 15 to 18, 2013 we went to Nanjing to visit our friend, Panda.
When I am walking around, I am usually on the lookout for flowers. However, there are times when a flower will just stop me in my tracks whether I am looking for one or not. That was the case with this fella that I ran into while walking around Honolulu. I had to walk over and say hello and grab a capture or two. This lovely specimen was gracious enough to let me grab this portrait while it danced in the wind letting the light and shadows play with its colors and textures. I was grateful for the encounter.

(280/365) She doesn't have enough room to stretch out on the footstool and must use the couch for a pillow! Looks like she's sleeping off a big bender ... I'm surprised my laughter didn't wake her up!

This year we kicked off our Just Love Festival 2023 with an incredible performance by Sati Ethnica grabbing the attention of the audience with her fusion style music as well as the wonderful carnatic concert given by Devraj Moothsamy, accompanied by the South Indian Veena and Mrdangam bringing the south to Germany. Gadhadar and the gopis rocked the stage yet again with their lively kirtan.
On July 24th, Paramahamsa Vishwananda, gave Darshan (Personal Blessing) to well over 1000 people that made their way to Shree Peetha Nilaya from all over the world.
The Food court offered an array of Vegan cuisine options from Mauritian Indian food to the finest Japanese cuisine not to mention the homemade ice-cream and Acai which was a wonderful refreshing hit.
Our Marketplace had more to offer then ever before and gave ample space for the kids to enjoy the bouncy castle next to the marketplace :)

In Kerkrade was het in het weekend van 29 april ontzettend gezellig. Vlakbij JT Parkstad stond een enorme hindernisbaan, waar vele personen een poging op waagden.
A day off. Which usually is great and brings in a good mood but I still felt tense. And lonely and useless and displaced and whatever. It lasted most of the day and then at some point it changed. I have no idea what triggered the change but I feel calm, secure, loved, and independant again. Go figure..
I talked with my family on Skype and to make me happy my bro ran out to take a picture of our old apple tree blooming.
Kari prepared a good dinner, we packed our luggage and went out to town with bikes. I was enchanted by the sky tonight.
