This is so inspiring and promising. This type of action is what will end this occupation.
A QUEER BLOCK PARTY
June’s First Friday kicked off Pride in York on First Friday Downtown event! Everyone celebrated with the girls, gays, and theys, and danced the evening away! There was a live DJ set from 6-9 PM with the drag show starting at 7 PM, hosted by York’s favorite queens: Tragedy Stackhouse and Sible Sible Stackhouse! Also featuring: Vampire Taco Truck, cookies and cocktails from Sugar Anarchy, snacks and drinks by Wired Chef, face painting, Dunk-A-Drag-Queen, and water gun chaos! Plus, people could shop local businesses right around the corner and explore the galleries and restaurants that Royal Square has to offer! The party was happening at the Mural Park in Royal Square (right behind Collusion Tapeworks near the fox and sardine can murals) for music and queer magic!

One of my favorite television series airs on The Travel Channel, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. The special episode airing Monday, August 21, during what would normally be the series hiatus, will feature footage shot when Anthony and his crew were filming a show on Beirut -- the very week that Israel started shelling parts of the city.
I don't know why this happened.. when I adjusted my white balance it fixed it so it was probably that, going from indoors to all this snow, I suppose. But, even though it's completely incorrect and I should hate this, I REALLY like it.. such pretty blues!
