B-1566, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, climbing out from runway 24R at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was departing as CXA8894 (Xiamen Airlines) to Shijiazhuang, People's Republic of China.
An unusual photo for me. I was up on the Marlborough Downs shooting the sunset when I stumbled on these wooded frames. I assume they were put there to deter motorbikes from using the footpath.
This guy was such a show off folks, and I love every minute of it giving us some great photo-ops.
Thanks for the visit, always appreciated.
This little rocky island in the North Channel of Lake Opeongo was our jumping off spot... water taxi dropped our canoes off (on a rocky slope) and we paddled up Hailstorm Creek...a wonderful wetland bog.
This Brown Pelican was taking off from the gulf along Pensacola Beach Florida as the sun was getting ready to set.
A shot for two shopping trolley's, resting on their side in the river Medway. Taken this morning on my New Years Day walk to let the new year in. Shot on Leica X, and processed in Lightroom.
Debated posting these three, and still might change my mind because I know some folks aren’t keen on the sometimes graphic nature or nature. Ret tailed hawk and Squirrel.
To most this is just a photo of a kestrel but for me it marks the start of an exciting journey. So good to see her again.

This Four Spotted Pennant was perched in a clearing at the edge of the lake, and actually presented his profile - like he wanted to show off his lovely golden tipped wings to the camera.
His perch was in such a great place I couldn't help but wonder if someone had placed it there previously in order to photograph dragonflies?
Seen at a nearby arboretum.
Troon...a reaction shot as was surprised when this flock of Ringed Plovers, Dunlin and Turnstone came round the corner of the harbour wall.
