Library staff joined in by wearing odd socks like Pippi Longstocking and raised money for local charity Jeremiah's Journey.
My husband, the male Martha Stewart, made this popsicle with grapes and fresh mint. Read more (and find the recipe) in red Ravine post, Man-Made Popsicles (aka Tales Of An Odd Pop).
This historic building is located on the corner of Wilson Boulevard and North Hudson Street, in Arlington, Virginia. It is known as the Odd Fellows Hall, since it was constructed in 1925 for the International Order of Odd Fellows. Like its neighbor the Rees Building, it was constructed by the George H. Rucker Company.
The two-story Odd Fellows lodge provided meeting space for churches, schools, and other lodges and temperance groups on the second floor, while commercial space for two stores was located on the first floor. The classically inspired building has a granite watertable, string course, and molded entablature. The second story meeting hall has elongated semi-circular arched windows with metal awnings. The lintels of the windows are detailed with applied ornamentation, symbols indicative of the Odd Fellows (the eye and sunbursts). The first story of the building, wrapping around the corner of the structure from the façade on Wilson Boulevard, was rehabilitated in the 1950s with the application of polished granite facing, aluminum framing, and plate glass store windows. Because of its architectural significance, the building was listed as a local historic district.

This is one of Norway's most interesting singer songwriters. 83 years old, and he just won one of the Norwegian Grammys for his latest CD.
I am not sure how the water flowed onto this road then had to flow down again. But that is what's happening.
This started happening after I reinstalled Windows and whatnot. Note that some parts are missing sections. The sections appear if I zoom all the way in. They are also visible if edge lines are turned off. And on a maybe-related note, the program crashes if I open a model in wireframe mode. Anyone else seen this before?
I 've always been interested in eccentric people. Maybe it's a memory of my past non-conformist rebel punk adolescence. Maybe not.
But when I met Federico (damn! I can't remember his family name!), young stylist, I felt I had to stop him and ask him to pose for me. And he did.
Update 20090310: this is his facebook page (thanks to miskelslt for the hint).

Here's all the stuff I've made so far this weekend. You will note that Chunk the Zombie is now capable of holding his own arms onto his body. Previously he needed a bit of help...
This photo shows even at the smallest groups someone is always left out.
Here At the far right there stands one child a few feet away from the rest
of the group. It could be that he personally feels different from everyone
else or that he is not included with everyone else. This falls under social
organization because of the group mentality much of how some Japanese
children in schools act.

During the course of the visit, we noticed this odd ladder on Ka 942. When built new and wearing streamlining, the Ka class had a ladder which went up the steam dome, but when later de-streamlined it went up one side of the dome. This ladder was one of the first visual signs of proof that Ka 942 was indeed going to regain the streamlining. MLS Plimmerton, 7th April 2007
