Am now waiting for a friend to arrive, keeping out of the rain in a
KFC. As usual am surfing, flickring etc when I hear something hit the glass wall & fall to
the ground. The guy who just arrives next to me has just pushed the
abandoned water bottle on the bench onto the floor. So odd. A small
gesture but it struck me as quite aggressive and unthinking. The
bottle could have easily been ignored or moved away but it was flicked
off. And he leaves soon with his empty cup left behind.
I guess I am a bit surprised as people here are usually
community oriented, clean up themselves and would normally just put it in the bin without a second thought.

1940's Rare Pre-War Campagnolo Schwinn Superior Track Pista Bicycle serial # B19 - $600 (Northbrook)

Extremely Rare! 1940's Schwinn Superior track bicycle. This bicycle got redone in the 70's and during that time they put on the 70's decals. The serial number is B-198 which is pre-war. It is a family bike, our uncle road for team Schwinn in the 70's. During that time he bought this bike and prepped it for casul races. The bike is equipped with campagnolo components (hubs, crank, seat post ect) there is also a Titan neck stem, cinelli bars, and cinelli seat. The bike originally came with wood wheels but we do not have those. This is a beautiful and rare bike and we would like to see it go to Some one as passionate about bikes as our uncle was. Feel free to ask questions and come see the bike.

Found in a Russian round wooden box at the Salvation Army. They appear old and have a grain, like they are some type of horn. The holes are very large and some have traces of black inside. Any one who knows anything about them please comment.

For Vaughan and Andrie's wedding we set up a photobooth so guest could essentially take their own pictures. Being a same sex wedding, we set the theme as YMCA, or anything outlandish. My wife bought props, starting with YMCA character hats, but we also added anything else that was bright and fun, including a couple of gay flags.
We set up a camera in our home studio. The reception for 90 odd guests was held in our garden. We provided a black ground to make the colours pop, set up two elinchrom lights, and set the camera on a 10 sec time delay with a remote button. Not all guest took advantage and the kids , including mine, kinda took over.
But we love the results
The Odd Fellows were a fraternal organization around the turn of the 20th Century in many small towns in Texas. The lodge would meet upstairs but the bottom floor would be devoted to business rental to pay for the building. In this case it was a grocery store and distributor.
I walked past my bookshelf and notice this group of book and thought ... That's sort of a strange to organize the way I did?
Library staff joined in by wearing odd socks like Pippi Longstocking and raised money for local charity Jeremiah's Journey.

Great fire show last night at our local restaurant Cafe BellaLuca. The
odd labs crew blew everyone away with a great fire show and drummer
performance. My favorite part was when the police officer pulled over
and took some photos with his cell phone. Nobody got busted.
This historic building is located on the corner of Wilson Boulevard and North Hudson Street, in Arlington, Virginia. It is known as the Odd Fellows Hall, since it was constructed in 1925 for the International Order of Odd Fellows. Like its neighbor the Rees Building, it was constructed by the George H. Rucker Company.
The two-story Odd Fellows lodge provided meeting space for churches, schools, and other lodges and temperance groups on the second floor, while commercial space for two stores was located on the first floor. The classically inspired building has a granite watertable, string course, and molded entablature. The second story meeting hall has elongated semi-circular arched windows with metal awnings. The lintels of the windows are detailed with applied ornamentation, symbols indicative of the Odd Fellows (the eye and sunbursts). The first story of the building, wrapping around the corner of the structure from the façade on Wilson Boulevard, was rehabilitated in the 1950s with the application of polished granite facing, aluminum framing, and plate glass store windows. Because of its architectural significance, the building was listed as a local historic district.
