Sullen,

never forgets a face,

enjoys reading murder mysteries and eating eggplant, (uncooked).

Made from red quilted fabric and vintage textile remnants including a bit of lace, a piece of linen, a small crochet button and a cutting of flowered fabric. Details stitched and "drawn" with needle, thread and machine.

Odd sign what the hell is this?

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization, was first established in the United State in 1819. This building was the organization's first hall in New York City.

I say a little more about the Odd Fellows Hall on my New York City Landmarks blog, The Masterpiece Next Door.

Matchsticks through glass

Odd protruding part at side (flash socket?).

Could not understand how and if it operates. It looked like it was all metal, without seperate, insulated terminals.

Breakfast shop sign. Thought I would collect odd and strange signs. Try to read it.

During PBS’ ODD SQUAD session at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills, CA on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, co-creators/executive producers Tim McKeon and Adam Peltzman, and Vice President, broadcast and digital media for Fred Rogers Company Paul Siefken discuss the new PBS Kids series.

Thought this was a bit odd, this was an 2011 E-Class with 981 Miles but the Trip Meter stated it had 982.3 Miles. How can the trip meter have more miles than the actual odometer? I know it isn't by much, a little over a mile, just seemed very odd.

Here is another odd sleeping position. Ozzy seems to be slabbed out on and off his doggy bed. It cracks me up when I see this. There was barely any light in the room, so I had to shoot at this ridiculously high ISO and I think the Sony did damn well for it.

First stop on the road trip was Gaylordsville, CT where I wanted to get a closer look at this odd tower.

I asked about it in the local general store (which also serves as the local coffee shop, bakery, deli and sandwich shop). Turns out the fellow there was related to the (now deceased) builder and the property is still in the family.

He told me that the odd tower was never used as any kind of residence, but was built as an apology to the builder's daughter.

I didn't ask what the apology was for.

For a while it was used as a site for antique and tag sales, but it is quiet now.

This shot was taken much later in the day, after the sun had come around to this side. Typical New England barn, plus the odd tower, next to the Housatonic River.

Odd Catch - who's got the ball? When the Blue Jays wore Red !

As part of Canada's 150th birthday celebrations, the Toronto Blue Jays will wear red & white “Canadiana” uniforms for every Sunday home game as well as select games in the month of July at the Rogers Centre. Toronto's first Sunday home game is against the Baltimore Orioles on Apr. 16.

Saw these two clouds near where I live. Very strange, indeed. They look kind of like flames.

CP 6003-5919 lead train #289 approaching Oconomowoc. The pair of SD40-2's is now the odd couple in todays world of CP ge's, and even more odd considering at one time CP Rail hosted one of the largest fleets of SD40-2's. The other odd thing about this train is one of the longest continuous string of box cars I have seen in quite some time.

Sanyo Xacti C1

As a tribute to the odd panel cars flickr group...

My faithful but bright orange Sanyo C4 died recently, after about 3 years abuse.. I've replaced it with a higher-spec HD1A, but rooted out my obsolete C1, the camera that got me hooked on this great design, (still working but missing battery cover and a few screws) for a bit of organ donation.

All 3 of these cameras have been about £20 off ebay, over about 4 years, me going upmarket as the secondhand technology goes down!

:o)

I have problems with both hands, nerve damage (but that is another story - two hand surgeries so far, plus one shoulder rebuilt), so I kind of have a hard ime on the wheel when making pottery, so I tend to like slab contruction - but if I make a piece and it goes south, I keep it anyway - so I have lots of odd shaped, little bowls and vases - it will be a few weeks before these are glazed.

Apparently the photographer thought this scene was worth committing to film. Found in WI.
