Peggy is an "Odd Eyed White" species. She also only has one back leg as the other was lost in a car accident before I got her. You can't see her tail, but it is completely black. The camera's flash caused her eyes, one yellow and one blue, to reflect red and green. She is a great companion.

Tattoo contest again. The cthulu tattoo was very impressive. Odd, but impressive. He seemed less than enthusiastic since his friends made me do the contest.
A little over a year ago I was in Calgary working on a film. The apartment I lived in for six months had a basement that was 'unfinished'...concrete walls, only industrial lights and no furniture...so it seemed like an ideal place for some image-play. The series of images that resulted I originally posted on Fotolog under the title of 'Basement Tapes'. For the first images I used myself in the image...a month later the totally captivating, mesmerizing Qua came to Calgary for a lovely visit and we did a series of images together in the basement....then some really weird shit started to happen. Stay tuned: a series of about thirty images ("reworked" from the original posts)....."The Basement Tapes"
Anyone who has been following my images here or on Fotolog knows of my relationship with the spectacular, sublime, amazing Qua.

I'm not saying he's odd personality-wise. This guy just seemed a little out of place. I don't think he was there for the Omaha SlutWalk itself, though he marched. I think he was handing out pro-cannabis pamphlets and things. (But I'm not positive about that.)
5/6/18 - Just a note that this building used to be taller. I found a view of the Bluebird theater nextdoor from the 60's and there is clearly another level to this building. The recessed areas above the windows were part of the windows of the next level. Here is a link to that photo.
The Odd Fellows Building is rather plain aside from a few terracotta details. The mix of storefronts detract from the building in my opinion, but one houses a nice terrazzo entrance. I'm sure the second floor is a large hall or something. Take a closer look at the sign if you like. I am still trying to decipher the maker's mark on the iron columns, maybe you can read it?

This odd guy "chills" with all the other ducks and geese down by the high school. One of the regular ladies who stops to feed them says she thinks he's paired up with the one white goose. Anyone know what the heck this is??!!!
