Card board dividers and a plastic ball...

finding things to take from indoors, set myself a mini task.

I thought it was something to do with tuning. Turns out the alternating sizes are the only way to fit them all together.

who knew you could have so much fun with a chicken nugget?

which is the odd one out?

Chopsticks and cheezies make an odd couple. I didn't want to get my fingers all greased and cheezed up while working on my computer, so I grabbed a pair of chopsticks to eat them with.

It was a win-win situation.

I used to pass by this sweet little pond almost everyday 1/2 mile from my "old" home. Often saw 2 white Ducks and since there was a farm nearby, wasn't very interested, because after all they were only "domesticated" creatures and were always way on the other shore anyway.

Imagine my surprise when I drove by a month ago, and saw at least 20 multi-colored Ducks in that pond, and some looked like Mallards all swimming in a big group together.

A little research and I find that "wild" Mallards are actually descendants of domesticated ducks (not the other way around) and they often cross breed when the opportunity arises. Guess some dude saw opportunity and now there is a whole extended family living happily ever after. And happy they seemed, too -- gotta love how it looks like the one in the far right (below) is smiling/laughing!!

Have a great week, everyone. I'm trying to do some catching up on all your wonderful pics -- slowly but surely.

Just. Odd. I like it. (from a street sign)

Odd Jelly Out by: uckiood - Missy Douglas & Kim Rask from: Burien, WA year: 2018

Had a ton of pics from this spot, this is just the first one I've uploaded.

Those are seriously elevated chainstays...

I was trying for the yellow flower... but missed.... the picture still turned out as an odd perspective that I liked after all.

Last picture from the Philadelphia Flower Show.

I saw this stack of books behind glass in a Antiques mall in Tulsa. I find one of them to be rather frightening.

I like the hair, though.

This tar-covered rubber duckie was on the roof of the auto-parts store next to the restaurant (Nola's, was it? Or.... something similar, I'm forgetting, now) some of us went to during the flickr photo-stroll meetup on Bainbridge Island.
