Odd sign what the hell is this?

Not sure what's up with the random green egg in the corner there. Was it from a different bird? I ate it anyway. Tasted like an egg.

Not sure what the story is with these two - perhaps the swan wanted the rock but the heron wouldn't budge or they were just comfortable with each other. Either way, they seemed an odd pair that caught my attention and stood together like this for quite a while.

The man had worked at the Ocularium since he was old enough to talk, trusting his employers and never suspecting them of doing any harm to anyone. That is, until he discovered their dark secrets...

So he took the source of their power and ran. As the Brotherhood of Refracted Luminence gave chase, the man wondered what lay beyond the confines of the Ocularium...

I 've always been interested in eccentric people. Maybe it's a memory of my past non-conformist rebel punk adolescence. Maybe not.

But when I met Federico (damn! I can't remember his family name!), young stylist, I felt I had to stop him and ask him to pose for me. And he did.

Update 20090310: this is his facebook page (thanks to miskelslt for the hint).

Breakfast shop sign. Thought I would collect odd and strange signs. Try to read it.

Sanyo Xacti C1

As a tribute to the odd panel cars flickr group...

My faithful but bright orange Sanyo C4 died recently, after about 3 years abuse.. I've replaced it with a higher-spec HD1A, but rooted out my obsolete C1, the camera that got me hooked on this great design, (still working but missing battery cover and a few screws) for a bit of organ donation.

All 3 of these cameras have been about £20 off ebay, over about 4 years, me going upmarket as the secondhand technology goes down!

:o)

I have problems with both hands, nerve damage (but that is another story - two hand surgeries so far, plus one shoulder rebuilt), so I kind of have a hard ime on the wheel when making pottery, so I tend to like slab contruction - but if I make a piece and it goes south, I keep it anyway - so I have lots of odd shaped, little bowls and vases - it will be a few weeks before these are glazed.
