On the right side (quite middle axis), a GODOX QT600ii through an octabox 90 cm (1/1 Power).
Rim light 1 :
On the left and rear side of the model, a GODOX QT600ii through an stripbox at 1/1 power.
Rim light 2 :
On the right and rear side of the model, a GODOX QT600ii through an stripbox at 1/1 power.
All was triggered with a GODOX X1-T.
Post processing :
skin soft retouch / eyes work / Dodge and Burn / Color search / Add a small vignet.

I shot a series of publicity photos for the Greensboro Ballet last night on November 19th for general publicity and also their Gala event in the spring.

Strobist: Two AB800s on eaither side of the dancer shot back towards white seamless at f13, One AB400 high high high up on a boom with a 4' octabox attached at f9. Minimal post processing. I figure out how to do all this using Zach Aria's online tutorial.

She's a young woman who likes to discover mysterious things. One day she finds a book left on a bench. When she takes it, she doesn't know this book would lead her on a strange journey...
As she picks it, a weird light starts to shine from the book. The night seems to suddenly fall, and she starts having a bizarre feeling.
Now she's transported into a different world, suddenly wearing a new outfit.
She sits and starts waiting for something to happen.
But she hears some strange voices calling her. So she stands up and starts searching where thoses voices are coming from.
She puts the book down, and she looks everywhere...

Strobe info: One Jinbei DC-600 through a 46 inch Octabox on the left of the subject. The strobe was triggered with pocketwizards TT5.
One of my goals shooting Tanya was to highlight her amazing bright & shiny hair. Putting the sun in the frame to use as a rim worked out perfectly for this!

- 1/80, f/1.4, ISO 100; TTL.
- Main: Flashpoint XPLOR 600 + 36" EZ-Pro octabox, camera right.
- Fill: Flashpoint eVOLV 200 + 18" AD-S7 octabox, camera left @ -1 2/3 stops

Three speedlights. 30 inch octabox as main light camera right. 30 inch shoot through umbrella as fill on the left. Bare speedlight with gel high left and behind model lighting the background with some obviously spilling on the model. Two main lights triggered by radio (neewer v850s and FT-16) background light was a neewer on slave mode.
Shot was taken in a club in DC - Dupont area.
Samantha proved to be a wonderful young lady to have in front of the camera. During the shoot we discussed politics, sociology, and her goals for the future. It was indeed a pleasant way to spend a beautiful, mild morning.
strobist: 1 White Lightning x1600, camera right, diffused by a Mola Demi beauty dish. 1 White Lightning Ultrazap 1600, camera left, diffused by a large PCB foldable octabox. 2 White Lightning Ultrazap 1600s, camera left and right (behind subject) with standard reflectors(rim light). I used a 60" umbrella perched on a lightstand to shade the subject from the direct sun. Strobes triggered via Cybersyncs; powered via Vagabond IIs and Innovatronix Explorer XT. A Singh-Ray Vari-N-Duo was used.

got hired by Sam & Aretha to work their wedding in clearwater, everything looked great and everyone in both parties helped with setting up and moving things around when we shot. I had a great time and def will be booking more weddings soon, a lot of work but so worth it to work a fun event.
