I love love love this photo, I've always thought "feet" pictures were so cute, and the love the colored filter I put on too. To improve I would have liked to give some of the rocks more color, instead of just being solid colored, they look a little too blown out. 20/20

The last week of April and the beginning of May proved to be hurried and hectic because of Project Design and Management trainings. We conducted four PDM workshops through Land O'Lakes for sheep breeders associations, one PDM for the new group of Peace Corps volunteers (MAK 9), another for a local NGO affiliated with the DutchIPK (interethnic Project Kumanovo) as well as a PDM for the American Cornera support organization for NGOs in the southern Macedonia city of Bitola.
Shaun, my usual partner in crime, and I conducted almost all of them together, working with a few other folks off and on. Two PDMs for regional Sheep Breeder associations in Eastern and Western Macedonia were the first, coming off our recent experience with the participants from the OSCE workshop. We planned to scale it down since this was new information to the sheep-breeder participants and it would be the first time they had heard most of this stuff. The first day we learned rather quickly however, that we did not scale it down enough. In four hours we were able to cover only two topics. Afterward we drastically re-tooled the program and schedule for the following workshops we would do with the sheep-breeders. With every additional workshop we did our presentations and their comprehension improved. Yeah for learning from experience!

Objective 3: Elements and Principles of Design
The principles of design demonstrated (describe the use): There is repition with the nuts, but not really in a pattern. The nut that I have focused on is emphasized because of the black and white background, and the canvas' colour. There is contrast in the colours of the nut that i have re-coloured. This picture demonstrates harmony and unity between the nuts, bolts, and screws.
The elements of design demonstrated (describe the use): There is form and shape in the nut because of the way the light hits it, and the shadows. It shows a 3-D form. It has a rough texture to it that you can see from the peeling rust, and paint that is coming off the nut, I tried to get the nut on the lower-left side, in the rule of thirds focal point. There are many types of lines in this photo: curved, diagonal, and straight/jagged lines. I think the most prominent feel of the photo is strength however, even though there are no vertical lines that i could find.
Objective 5: Post Production (ex. dust/spot removal, contrast, white balance, sharpening, borders, etc.)
Corrections/adjustments made: First I converted the photo to black and white, and then re-coloured in the one nut that i have focused on. I then created 3 canvas' to create a cool border. The first is black, the second is the colour of the rust that i picked of the nut, and the third is a larger black to finish it. I then sharpened and resized the photo to appropriate lengths for Flickr.
