An homage to Blade Runner and every other sci-fi cityscape. ;)

While walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in September 2004, I took this picture of Lower Manhattan.

The photo was taken in September 2004.

The skyscrapers of Manhattan are back-lit by the morning sun.

I wish there were clouds in the sky every morning! This is from today.

The Statue of Liberty, during the turn of the century, greeted ships and welcomed arriving immigrants entering NY Harbor from abroad. A symbol of Freedom and The United States. Over a century has passed since the iconic statue was erected. It is now dwarfed by all of the surrounding skyscrapers.

Don't know why they had them. This is from last night.

Another shot from the archives.

This is from earlier tonight. Not a cloud in the sky now.

Taken @ the Cali Love NYC event.

I have a bunch of photos to dump from this event & I wish there was a way to post multiple shots in one post similar to Instagram. Maybe there is but I haven't seen it.

A view of Lower Manhatten. Unfortunately low clouds were present most of the night but this one turned out kinda cool.

In 2000 I was a teenager looking for a new job. I worked 7 days a week in a real estate office, and eventually, it would be too much with AP classes school schedule. I found the place I liked and went to them in person 5 times. By the end of August, they hired me even though they didn’t need people because they couldn’t take my “asking” anymore. It turned out to be the best thing I did as a teenager. If you want something, ask for it. If you love someone, tell them. If you are not happy where you are, change it. Learn, practice & repeat. Break the doors, climb the window. Fail 100 times, take a deep breath & some nice rest and try 1000th time over again. If something needs to be changed, change it, never think it’s too late.

Captured the Manhattan skyline from Eagle Rock Reservation in New Jersey.

Created using 3 RAW exposures taken from Weehawken.

7-shot pano of the NYC skyline from Liberty State Park at sunset. Processed in a monochromatic grayscale tone. This from taken a few months ago, I'm just now getting to post it. I've got a backlog of pics to post. More coming soon.
