In 2007 these nutcrackers were placed around the downtown Seattle area, decorated by different groups.

Creighton Dance Company’s production of The NUTCRACKER recounts the classic tale of a young girls journey, beginning at her parents’ Christmas party and into her nightmares and dreams. Eventually, Clara is transported to a land of “sweets” where she is entertained by the Sugar Plum Fairy and other dance “confections”. She is accompanied by her beloved Uncle Drosselmeyer, and the Nutcracker “doll” (transformed into a “Prince”) that he has given her as a gift.
