Tho the Nutcracker Suite is a Christmastime story, it fits in with all the fairy tale pics I've been doing, so thought I post it :)
The tree is the first one Barbie ever put out, from 2000. It was so HTF that year that I actually paid eBay price for it to get it in time for Christmas that year! The skirt is by Rachael Ashwell (Simply Shabby Chic).

We took a day trip to Manning specifically to find this bird. I was still slinging my camera strap around my neck when I exclaimed to David, "There goes a Nutcracker!" It was the easiest lifer to find so far. Manning Park is rife with them.
