The Yutong GT12 luxury touring coach was launched at the NEC last year, at which point I controversially claimed it to be the main highlight of the event. Fast forward a year and I stand by my point. The GT12 is an incredible looking vehicle, well deserving the 'grand tourer' tag usually more fitting of Maseratis than coaches, and I am glad to see operators taking to it - this example, registration NO69GTL, is for Nova Tours of Chesterfield. It looks even better in their colours than the demonstrator did at NEC '18.

Space log in Nova Sam Alexander's helmet from Planet Earth:
My name is Sam Alexander. My powers can be cosmic but i'm from earth just like you.I wasn't a cool kid before i got these awesome powers.I was a loser and i was bullied y bad kids in my school. To make matters worse my dad was the janitor of my school that's one of the reasons why those kids bullied me.So he was a loser just like me.To make matters worse he was always telling some stories telling he was a space hero.No one believed him including me.
One day he got Disappeared.
After 2 months my mom asked me to put out the trash as always. It was dark and hard to see around. After i put out the trash i heard a noise.
Voice:Sam Alexander?
Sam:How do you know my name?
Voice:Because i know your father....
He came from the light to reveal his face.It was a talking racoon.I was freaked out so that i fell next to the trash.
I cried:A...a.....a...TALKING RACOON.
Rocket:What the hell is a racoon? He got angry and jumped through my face we started to fight. Then he pulled a big space gun.Another voice appeared from the dark. This was a voice of a strong woman.
Voice:Stop!ROCKET!You are going to kill him.
She appeared from the dark revealing her Green face.I was freaked out again but i started to get used to it.Next a talking mixture of a monkey and elephant appeared......Not really....i got you:P
She started to introduce her:
Woman:My name is Gamora.Daughter of Thanos. The galaxy is in trouble and we are out of a Nova.(What my dad used to call himself)
She handed a yellow helmet to me and told me to put it on.
I put it on feeling the power in my bones. Then i said:
Sam:Sorry but i am not thinking to get myself killed.
Gamora:I understand.Keep the helmet it was your fathers.Tell us if you change your mind.
They got disappeared.I said i don't want to be a super hero but i didn't say i won'T be hanging out(flying) with these powers.

Amethyst from Amethyst Cove, Nova Scotia. These stunning pieces have a great rockhounding story attached. When my father made his first trek to Amethyst Cove he spent most of the trek asking me if his finds were good or not. At one point, while I was eating a sandwich he showed me a white rock. I glanced at it and threw it over my shoulder. My dad walked over to find it had broken open revealing some of the darkest and best Amethyst we have in the Fundy Rocks collection! www.facebook.com/fundyrocks

This Nova doesn't appear to have a trim level, not even 'Base' or 'Merit', so it must have been the cheapest model.
The original rear number plate was from a garage in Croydon, so this little 1 litre Nova has come a long way in it's life.
A shame about the door and mirror. I should really have got a front end shot, but as usual I was conscious of being watched, as it was parked directly outside a house with the curtains open.
I've just realised that this car is 25 years old tomorrow, 1st registered 26th August 1988.

Praktica Nova!
Maybe unsurprisingly it doesn't work 100%. The counter is jammed and won't reset and the slow speeds won't work no matter how much I cleaned and fiddled with the shutter.

Superb original looking Nova here with no rust I could see. Still has the original rear dealer plate and is a local car.
This didn't come up on any of the car data sites with a particular trim level, so if you know what it is don't hesitate to let me know.
