Dear colleagues,
I would like to inform you about discovery of apparent nova
in M31 galaxy:
Kamil Hornoch, Astronomical Institute, Ondrejov report the discovery
of apparent nova in M31 on a co-added 1620-s R-band CCD frame taken on
July 18.988 UT with the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov.
The new object is well visible on the co-added frame as well as on single
images used for the co-added frame, but is not present on archive images
taken at Ondrejov.
Available R-band magnitudes obtained using the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov:
2012 July 16.055 UT, [20.0; 18.988, 18.0 +/- 0.1.
The new object is located at R.A. = 0h42m39s.91, Decl. = +41o26'57".3
(equinox 2000.0), which is 49.7" west and 648.8" north of the center of M31.

One of the few times Nova wasn't all over GeorgeBailey that night. That boy gets more action than his old man.
