I like how the wheels though finished black, still have bright rims that nicely define the presence of the wheels instead of the current practice of finishing the wheels entirely black which to me give an unfinished appearance to cars.
This Gen 3 Chevrolet Nova (previously called ‘Chevy II’ for the first two generations) was offered for model years 1968-74. The ‘Chevy II’ name disappeared altogether in favor of ‘Nova’ from the car for the 1969 model year forward.
Unlike previous generations, there was no wagon version of this style offered. Similar to the Chevrolet Camaro introduced for 1967, this Nova was designed with a separate front subframe to which the engine and front suspension assemblies were attached.
During its production run, the Gen 3 car could be had with initially with a 153 cubic inch inline 4-cylinder eventually through the big block 396/402 cubic inch V-8.

Another shot I'm contemplating for the KZOK Classic Car Calendar (I have another shot to work on still from another location). Another massive editing session. Have you ever post processed so long that you loose sight of where you're actually going? That's how I feel right now..
I'd like your opinions on this one because I'm not sure what to feel about it. I think I fried my brain from too much computer time. The original sky was orange/yellow and it just didn't seem to work with the yellow car so I changed it. I shot under multiple bright ass HPS street lamps and had to color correct for those as well, although you can still see the shadows they left behind. It was so windy at the time I shot this that I seriously almost fell over trying to handle my large softbox on a boom.
I can't even remember how many exposures this is put together but at least 4-5. You can check out the exposure I used for the master below. I think I'm about 40 layers deep on this one. This is a 60 second exposure.
