I'm a big fan of Nova 106.9 - THE BEST Radio station up here in Brisbane, Australia. What did I say that for? Well on those thongs is a picture of the Nova Boy :) This was taken at Port Douglas one sunrise :)
Not the greatest shot, but it was getting late in the day. Interesting to see this road example after I'd been watching a number of them racing in the Rookie Rods earlier in the evening.
Class 68 diesel-electric locomotive, number 68030 “Black Douglas” was captured at Platform 1 at Scarborough. The Spanish built TransPennine Express locomotive was ready to propel the 5 coach Nova 3 train set on 1U68 1648 hrs Scarborough to York. Visible in the background is the Westborough Methodist Church.

The Pontsteiger, also known as the Pontsteigergbouw (building) or Miljoenengebouw, is a residential tower in the Dutch city of Amsterdam.
The design by Arons en Gelauff Architecten was chosen as the winning design in 2007 and, despite the credit crisis, was built almost according to the design in 2015. The Pontsteiger building is part of the area development of the Houthavens, and is located on the IJ where the ferry departs from the pont jetty at Tasmanstraat, built in 1957, to the NDSM site and Distelweg. There are houses, retail and catering areas. On the 25th floor is a 1,440 m² penthouse, which came into the possession of catering entrepreneur Won Yip, who sold three-quarters to third parties in 2019, of which 391 m² to Marcel Boekhoorn. Although the building has an extremely angular appearance, the plinth contains spaces with flowing facades.
The construction of the 92-meter-high building started in February 2015, the expected completion date was at the end of 2017. This makes the building the tallest residential building in Amsterdam. It was only finally delivered in 2019. A striking feature of the building is the luxurious finish, including bronze-green tiles between the floors. Other striking facade elements are the external and internal (but visible from the outside) V-shaped support beams.

I like how the wheels though finished black, still have bright rims that nicely define the presence of the wheels instead of the current practice of finishing the wheels entirely black which to me give an unfinished appearance to cars.
This Gen 3 Chevrolet Nova (previously called ‘Chevy II’ for the first two generations) was offered for model years 1968-74. The ‘Chevy II’ name disappeared altogether in favor of ‘Nova’ from the car for the 1969 model year forward.
Unlike previous generations, there was no wagon version of this style offered. Similar to the Chevrolet Camaro introduced for 1967, this Nova was designed with a separate front subframe to which the engine and front suspension assemblies were attached.
During its production run, the Gen 3 car could be had with initially with a 153 cubic inch inline 4-cylinder eventually through the big block 396/402 cubic inch V-8.

This reminded me of the car I learned to drive in, which was also an E-reg Nova 1.2 Merit in this colour, which I believe is Nordic Blue. That was a 3 door, though.
