Endcliffe Park, Sheffield. This was the scene in the park today. The results of a recent history lesson some local school kids had in the park. On 22 February 1944 Flying Fortress 'Mi Amigo' crashed in this wooded area and all 10 men onboard the plane lost their lives.
These photos were taken in and around the Cumberland Caverns. My father and I purchased a "buckestlist package" which included swag, two meals in the cave, and a motel at the Fall Creek Falls State Park. Gorgeous. Just gorgeous!
