I did a little destashing a couple of weeks ago and brought a bucket full of fabric to a co-worker for her little girl that has been taking sewing classes. She is so excited about learning to sew on a machine! When I got to work today this was in my office along w/my favorite snacks...Quaker Oats Granola Bites (I'm addicted!) It was so cute...totally made my day!! I just LOVE her P.S.!

Paul Simonon's Fender Precision Bass
In September 1979, The Clash appeared for two nights at the Palladium in New York as part of their Take the 5th tour. Paul Simonon smashed his Fender P Bass at the end of the show on Thursday 20 September. The photograph Pennie Smith shot that night was used for the cover of London Calling

(November 2019 – September 2020)
London Calling was and is a hugely compelling melting pot of musical styles, driven by a passion for action and a fierce desire for social justice. The album’s music and lyrics remain as relevant today as they were on release.
As well as showcasing influences and context for the writing and recording of the seminal double album, this new exclusive display at the Museum of London will examine how the capital influenced The Clash as they became the most popular British band of the 20th century.
