I love me some black and white long exposures but every now and then you have to have some color. My buddy Travis is always bugging me about doing color on these... so here ya go.

Seashore Solitude
A beautiful cove in Cambria, California. Cambria is located north of San Luis Obispo and south of San Simeon. San Simeon is where the Hearst Castle is located and some say the southern edge of the Big Sur area. Cambria is a small sleepy artist colony with many small art galleries and cool natural food cafes as well as your normal array of shops, boutiques and restaurants.

A "Rule 63" version of the The Three Amigos... Las Tres Amigas!!
I used Analog Efex to give the image an aged & weathered look - reminiscent of an old Sepia photograph that had been colorized. I smoothed out the textures with Dfine and Color Efex Pro.
Update: Las Tres Amigas made it on to the Flickr Explore page (July 17, 2019) and was photo number 464 out of the 500 most interesting new photos of the day.

Compliments to Reggie for sharing the free Kim Long presets for lightroom. And to Siebe who introduced to me, my fave NIK Software.
The Dallas Arboretum has several water walls and they are very popular to all who visit there. I have taken many photos and with this one I told myself to be creative, crazy, if you will. I used Adobe Creative Cloud for the distortion and then added more dramatic color with NIK. The green comes from the plants behind the water wall. Not my typical style, but it was fun to do!
A day out down to Tyntesfield (National Trust) with 'Jeffda2' to get some further images / portraits of the most excellent 'Ragged Victorians' !

Noticed this spider's web just as I was leaving my house. The sunlight was hitting it in such a way that only half-of it was readily visible and the spider silk was bending the light to give it a rainbow effect just on the strands of webbing.
It was a matter of luck and timing as any earlier or later, the light would not have bounced off it in the right way to cause this effect.

This image was captured during a Meet Up with our 5DIII group. Led by Bob Canepa (bcanepa_photos) and Mike Baird (mikebaird). This is an exciting group all about sharing expertise and information. We also have fun photographing at our meet ups. The group is now morphing into a group with any camera type. Point and shoots to the high end DSLR’s. Everyone is welcome. Same barn, as previous upload, different perspective after the sun has set. We were there from an hour before sunset till after the sun went down.
Back in France after our trip to England, and as the beginning of our Summer is rather “thunderstormy”, and therefore not great for shooting outdoors, I will for a few days upload photographs from other recent projects undertaken on behalf of the Fondation du Patrimoine, one of the non-profit organizations I work for as a pro bono photographer.
The ruins of the Cistercian abbey of Vernaison that stand on the banks of River Isère, near the Alps in southeastern France, have been selected as a major restoration project by the so-called “Heritage Mission” of the Fondation. Although there is very little left of the abbey erected in the 1100s for nuns, the remains of the Romanesque apse, as well as some of the adjacent (and later) buildings are impressive.
Among the rubble, sculpted and carved stones await being sorted and, if possible, re-used.

When you are stuck in airports because of weather delays you can either bemoan your fate or you can post process pictures...
so here is more of my "Street walking" photography, seeing the world at eye level and at the speed of life.
I am now crashing an elementary school and playing with the kids. I love the fact that there is still enough innocence left in the world that this can happen.
