A reedit and repost of an earlier photo. This time, I initially darkened the sky using Aperture and then used Viviza to darken it a bit more. I skipped Color Efex and the detail extractor, letting HDR Efex and the definition tool in Aperture bring out any details.

I decided to purchase a new small cam for everyday use, so here it is - a Fuji X 20.

I really like that retro look :)

Edited with Nik´s Color Efex Pro.

I found this church accidentally, while walking for a conference near Moscone center SF. I have seen so many shots of church interiors but never had a chance to till now. Church interior architecture has a lot of texture and character. I choose to take 3 shots and process it HDR and then BW in Nik HDR.

One of many attempts to capture the wonder of the profusion of these flowers in Cross Estates Garden.

Ft Myes Beach has many canals with homes and docks. This home I think was closed for the summer.

My wife and I had a chance during our visit our to DC to visit the Shenandoah National Park and hike a few of the trails there. Blackrock Summit was an incredibly easy hike (about 30 minutes from where we parked) but had a great view as well as a field of broken rocks just at the summit.

It's called Blackrock Summit due to the black lichen that grow on the rocks. The Appalachian Trail also bisects the summit but can't be seen from this view.

This 360° panorama was created out of 119 individual D800 images, stitched together with PT Gui into 7 individual panoramas that were then merged and tone mapped using HDR Efex Pro 2. The only post-processing after that was to remove some dust spots.

With my friends/colleagues in Bataan for an overnight stay to clear our minds of work and anything that entails being a physician even just for one night.

We arrived a little bit late but on time for the sunset since we got stuck in traffic for 4 hours in Subic due to the Ironman Marathon.

And this welcomed us.

The new hall for the Messe Basel includes 50 000 square meters of exhibition space that spreads across two windowless floors, each 8 meters high. This large volume is clad into a shimmering facade of interwoven metal strips, with each of floors slightly offset. The ground floor, enclosed in glass, is designed for public use and is shaped so as to form a "city lounge" - a covered plaza that opens to the sky through a large, mesmerizing oculus.

365_37 Hubby chose tonight. I'm not in love with the composition (at all) but eh, cannot be helped now. Have to admit I was more enjoying snow and view than thinking of technicalities. More snaps - should you wish to see todays snowy day in Istanbul - on blog www.mojcas365.blogspot.com
