The new hall for the Messe Basel includes 50 000 square meters of exhibition space that spreads across two windowless floors, each 8 meters high. This large volume is clad into a shimmering facade of interwoven metal strips, with each of floors slightly offset. The ground floor, enclosed in glass, is designed for public use and is shaped so as to form a "city lounge" - a covered plaza that opens to the sky through a large, mesmerizing oculus.
This has to be one of my absolute favorite shots that I captured while on our last trip. As I've mentioned, night time HDR have eluded as far processing goes, so this is just a single shot, but the way it turned out really impressed me. Epcot is definitely my favorite park to be in at night, yet I wasn't able last trip to spend as much time as I wanted in Epcot shooting at night. Hopefully I will crack the night time HDR code with some more practice, because shooting at night is my favorite. Especially in WDW, I love the looks we all get when people pass by, wondering what we are shooting. Please let me know what you all think as always and of course, Enjoy!

My wife and I had a chance during our visit our to DC to visit the Shenandoah National Park and hike a few of the trails there. Blackrock Summit was an incredibly easy hike (about 30 minutes from where we parked) but had a great view as well as a field of broken rocks just at the summit.
It's called Blackrock Summit due to the black lichen that grow on the rocks. The Appalachian Trail also bisects the summit but can't be seen from this view.
This 360° panorama was created out of 119 individual D800 images, stitched together with PT Gui into 7 individual panoramas that were then merged and tone mapped using HDR Efex Pro 2. The only post-processing after that was to remove some dust spots.

Captured a few days after a rainstorm on a cloudless and windy day. The wind coming off the ocean was almost biting cold, but I managed to keep my equipment sand free as well as myself.

Water is a new, site-specific performance that was held at the Paul Milstein Pool, Hearst Plaza in Lincoln Center. The free performance was held nightly at 9:30pm last July 27-31, 2011.
