This shot is hot off the presses. I just took it a few hours ago and then brought it home to upload. I took a few of these. I do like going out into the night seeking ghosts.
I happened to see this the other day and thought it would look great at night. There are new subdivisions all around here. here.
I did notice more noise after putting it through Topaz and probably should not have done that.
Just roll with it.
I've never done many night shots so these are a bit of a first. Bought my first tripod the other day so this was its first job. My fingers are still so ccccold that I can barely type.

Last night in the Parklands. I went out for a walk and came back with this.
The mist rolled in for an hour and was gone by well before midnight. Quirky mist.
I was so excited to see my first Night Heron...at least one I could photograph! Thanks Rainey, Marianne and Gypsy for this opportunity.

On our night sky photo adventure we spent time at Tenaya Lake photographing the Milky Way reflection in the lake. There was a slight movement on the surface of the lake which caused the stars to dance on the water. It was magical and mesmerizing. Alas, a still photo cannot show you this. There was also a green glow in the sky called airglow - caused by radiation from the upper atmosphere. Taken with Sony a7r3, Laowa 15mm lens, ISO 3200, 15 seconds at f/2.4. I took 7 vertical shots and stitched them together in Lightroom.
