When you get a lemon day, just make lemonade. My first attempt at a night shot. It is actually a street light in the fog. I went to the mailbox late and ran in for my camera to capture this.

Taken for the "Looking close... on Friday!" theme "Minimalism on Black Background", with the help of a Delicate moth (yes, Delicate is its common name!), Mythimna vitellina.
This was one of my night shots during our trip to Florida. I took this shot while driving along...and no, I was not the one driving:)
I was never able to take night images like this, until one of my Flickr friends gave me the idea, with his advice how to take images of lightnings. I thought I'll just try it with the night shot, and was quite pleased how it worked out.

Took this picture at Gardens By The Bay, Singapore. It was taken at night, illuminated by a spot light above the flowers and additional light filled by a smartphone spotlight.

A night time panorana of Tokyo Bay with the Odaiba Statue of Liberty in the foreground and the Rainbow Suspension Bridge behind. The Rainbow Bridge is illuminated with glowing lights, sometimes in rainbow colours, for special holidays and events.
The Statue of Liberty stands roughly 40 feet tall, about 1/7th the size of its New York counterpart. Originally erected temporarily from 1998-1999 to pay tribute to Japan’s ties with France, the statue was returned permanently in 2000 due to its popularity.
As if one Statue of Liberty replica was not enough, Japan has at least a couple more scattered about the country. I stitched five shots together to create this panoramic view.
Taken in almost no light at all at 4AM, converted to monochrome and added to the grain.

This shot is hot off the presses. I just took it a few hours ago and then brought it home to upload. I took a few of these. I do like going out into the night seeking ghosts.
I happened to see this the other day and thought it would look great at night. There are new subdivisions all around here. here.
I did notice more noise after putting it through Topaz and probably should not have done that.
Just roll with it.
I've never done many night shots so these are a bit of a first. Bought my first tripod the other day so this was its first job. My fingers are still so ccccold that I can barely type.
