Daily Dog Challenge 1337. "Your Favorite Color"
I love a deep, rich red and I think it goes well with the boys' golden coats.
That said, this is not a backdrop I use very often as it has pronounced creases every 10" or so along the fold lines and takes a bit of cloning during post-processing to smooth things out.
I compromised today, given the triple digit heat, and took just a handful of shots per dog and then processed just one for each.

This temple is located in a roofed mall. The mall itself is very unique, interesting. A street lined with shops but with roof over them.
Taken at a local fishing lake when i was night fishing. Captured at approx. 1:30am using a slow shutter speed when just experimenting i came across a half decent photo. It is a photo of my rods and reels with alarms and bank sticks. Looks a lot better in light box so please press 'L'.

Petra by night - my second version - from my point of view one of the ultimate locations for travel photographers. It was for quite a while on my bucket list. Of cause a lot of people are currently concerned about safety in Jordan. My experiences were just awesome. I can really recommend to visit this great country to see these incredible places and to support these wonderful people. Due to this fear the numbers of tourists are far less than normal. Only around 10% compared to the time before the war in Syria are still visiting.
this was never intended to be a timelapse.
rather this was a camera set up to catch any south eastern perseid meteors flying overhead. but it was a full moon and the only two spotted were in between frames...
30 or so consecutive frames captured around
midnight under a full moon... each frame about 1.5 min long.
when reviewed on the lcd, i was watching a timelapsed
moonlight trail across the boat and shore and tried to figure out how to replicate that into motion.
here you will see two passes...
first one really slow, played backwards
second one played forward and only a few seconds long.

Started out as just a quick photo to update the banner on my blog but I kinda loved it so much that I made sure it was a nice picture on it's own.

The purpose of bonfire nights and the similarities between fireworks designs deliver an overwhelming message to display fireworks at different locations across England.
The technology of long-time exposure captures the momentary and timescale that disappears and turns the now into our history, making it memorable, readable, and appreciated by the audience.
The beauty of fireworks flashes in front of the naked eye for a momentary sensation. The sound of fireworks brings excitement, adding to the majestic notion of a large fireworks display.
The fireworks share temporary beauty, lighting up the night sky and illuminating the blackness with colours. The audience temporarily forgets the past and the future but concentrates on the moment of now, witnessing every second to come and pass, remembering and video-capturing the valuable seconds of fireworks that won't reappear again.
How many seconds of the colour of darkness do we choose to concentrate on and remember? How many seconds of beauty flash in front of us to remind us of the beauty that may fade away if we choose to forget, leaving the sky in the darkness? Technological advancements capture moments of beauty that last forever in the image.
Each line of beauty represents the memory of time and the seconds we have witnessed, exciting our senses from the now to the past before becoming the moment of history. The pictures illuminate the night with light and beauty, forever transforming the darkness with colours and joy.
The current photograph has been manipulated/uses the mirror effect to expand the possibilities of imagination. The new testing perspective may allow the audience to view a picture drawn by time scale with new but odd visual sensations, so that the reality can be captured but extended to new conceptions through human creativity.
