Weather: Rain (Default Puddles)
Sometimes you just want to fly but life gets in the way.
Well, during the night, the only thing missing is that bright dot in the sky. But some nights, only some, there is a not-so-bright-but-bright-enough dot in the sky. Suddenly your day gets a whole lot bigger! Unless you don't appreciate the cold weather...
It's about 1 month I haven't upload any pic on flickr and It's because I got a trip during the vacation and after I had some sh**y exams to pass.
So at first I wish you all a very good and peaceful year 2009.( I know I am a bit late :P )
Some fishing of Lake Michigan is done by day, and some by night when no observers are around. The Lake is bountiful and a few fish to be exported are never missed. This fishing method at track the occasional fish-eating night predators, however.
Friday Frenzy Storm Photo Images captured throughout the night! First sets I was able to be outside to capture as still light rain with wind just starting to pick up! 2nd set I was sitting on my couch inside my living room. The window is to the left! The rains were intensifying! This 3rd set was from my inside front porch to the right looking out my row of windows that overlook the right side of my yard. Stay tuned as I go through the night. This whole day was odd...a huge snowstorm had hit the weekend before, but I came in on the Monday after. It had started raining that day, and pretty much continued the whole day. from about 1pm to 5pm, it was mostly an ever present moisture in the air with occasional drops. It never really went away, and as night came the fog started. It made for a really interesting sky and atmosphere, especially since the park was completely empty when I shot this photo
4 image stitch of the april night sky shot around 5am 4/29/14 as predawn was beginning to light the eastern sky, the milky way galaxy appears to play hide and seek revealing itself giving a final glimpse of its colorful brilliance before fading as the new day begins. I chose to use the oak tree as a foreground subject in a way which lead the eye toward the night sky. As seen toward the right of the image, i chose to utilize my vehicles parking lights to illuminate the tree, making balancing the image rather difficult in processing but creates a plethora of dynamic range to the scene as a whole. If you look closely you may see 2 faint meteors and if you are an expert astronomer you will notice the planet Saturn just to the right of the constellation scorpius above the light dome on the horizon.
i like how things turned out for this image. It was the first image i shot of the milky way during the spring 2014 season of astrophotography. I sat on this project for awhile because i wasnt ready to bring the image to life fully but after some time and effort this is the result.
Something different, a night shot of Carn Brea castle overlooking Redruth.
