Night Storm
Beautiful light; wonderful shapes that repeat in a pattern; brilliant drama in color. All conspire to created a visual piece that calls for closer study. A single frame. No layers added. It is as shot with a color shift to deep red tones.

I took a photograph of this precinct about a year ago and late last year returned here in late evening/early night. Quite a glum area of town, to my way of thinking.
Sometimes you've just got to surrender to the sodium...
Temple of Debod. Egyptian temple, donated and rebuilt in Madrid. At night the security guard keeps the place safe from visitors
Galveston's "Pleasure Pier". Although closed on this winter Friday night, the ferris wheel still has a light show.
Night thinning. Between heavy rain episodes last night. Orion constellation and Sirius star very well visible regarding our peri urban light pollution

Tokyo atmosphere at night, from one of the high buildings. A long exposure shot with the voigtlander wide angle, helps to capture those traffic trails, and with the green color cast of the city lights make you feel like being in a Blade Runner frame.
A plane, the Shinkansen (high speed train), the railway and many cars can be spotted on the right side of the photo. Akihabara and the Skytree tower are also present.

Night alone...
She is alone content in her presence of being in the comfort of home. As the birds sing their final hums earths brown trees fade to nights shadows the stars shining brightly with the moon caressing her delicate skin illuminates through the darkness casting shadows through the velvet sky echo and recede in harmony with my inner music the stars the universe our celestial being with love of earth , love of life our creator, love where freedom and peace resides.
My heart and prayers go to all the innocent victims and families who are suffering in Israel, Iran, and Gaza. I am thinking about the struggles women are faced with every day who are bravely fighting for their freedom and rights and hope they are soon liberated and live life in freedom and peace soon.

Our first snowfall of the winter season 2024. The dense clouds above the city of Penticton captured the city lights and reflected them back to the water and surrounding moutains. (Lake Okanagan).
