If you draw a line directly west from where this photo was taken, you will get to Canada. Avoiding the northern tip of Coll and the southern tip of Mingulay, the line would land somewhere on the central coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. Now that’s a place I’d really like to see.

I got invited to take photos at the movie premiere of Aimuldir – The Soul of a Burkitshi, a heart warming story of a small girl who became an eagle huntress in Mongolia. The short film by director Oliver Klink and producer Jackson Nichols was screened at an art gallery in Palo Alto, California. Returning to the car after the event, Oliver and Jackson discussed the feedback they got on the film.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

This years crop of Juvenile Northern Mockingbirds cutting up around the bird bath and on the perch next to it. It was only 104 in the shade today so they were drinking plenty of water throughout the day!
I've had that birdbath nearly two years and they didn't start using it regularly until this heat wave hit this summer and it got so hot and so dry that there isn't many other places to for them to drink from.

TRC 2007 starts its journey to the Union Pacific Interchange at Searles, California with 30 loads of Potash.
Next to San Jose is a small town called Alviso, located at the San Francisco Bay in California. We went to the Alviso Marina County Park for sunset. Piers cross the marshlands, which makes it easy to observe the fauna and flora. I love the symmetrical one-point perspective.

While I was playing with my daughter we both had good lessons, and for me it was that sometimes we need to make some changes in our daily routines and focus on what is important, so what would it be your next move in life?

This beautiful momma has been living in our area for at least the last five years and has raised at least one set of twins and one other yearling. I suspected earlier this spring that she was pregnant. And look what a cutie she finally introduced us to a few weeks ago.
