What's your next move in life?
While I was playing with my daughter we both had good lessons, and for me it was that sometimes we need to make some changes in our daily routines and focus on what is important, so what would it be your next move in life?

This beautiful momma has been living in our area for at least the last five years and has raised at least one set of twins and one other yearling. I suspected earlier this spring that she was pregnant. And look what a cutie she finally introduced us to a few weeks ago.
Happy Friday...enjoy your weekend!!!
I wish! :)
This belongs to my little nephew. He was so happy that I was using it. A bit too happy 'cause he forced me into taking pictures of his other toys too.
Camping at remote Campsite 3 at Rooiputs gets very interesting some days as its on the Direct path to water where these Cats Drink >> they literally walk through your campsite on their way to drink ..Just ignore them and you will be fine!!
My next generation of ranunculus is now emerging and unfurling, close by to their parents who seem to be still flourishing in Sydney's spring sunshine. Only one ranunculus has wilted, and the pot remains a virtual smorgasbord of colour.

Cuenca (cuenca = “basin”) in a highland basin of the Andes at 2,700 m above sea level.
Once religious center of the Spanish colonies in the region, it has 52 churches, each more impressive than the next, dating back centuries.

Einst religiöses Zentrum der spanischen Kolonien in der Region, dementsprechend 52 Kirchen. Eine eindrucksvoller als die andere, aus vergangenen Jahrhunderten.

I am usually one to try and keep things close to "natural" as possible...unless I really go for broke in the editing room. On this one...the blue background is the restaurant door; the blooming rose was too red as caught by my camera....so saturated you couldn't see any definition so...I separated it from the shot, desaturated it...and put it back in.
** Call me when he breaks your heart next summer
Baby, I'll be waiting here
Call me when you're all fucked up, my lover
And I'll be there to lick your tears
You had to throw away our love
To find out nothing's as good as us
So call me when he breaks your heart next summer **

This building is on the South Bank of the Thames next to Battersea Bridge. I discovered it by accident when searching Flick for a building with a similar name, The Riverwalk Building which is just along the river beside Vauxhall Bridge. Albion Riverside is built adjoining the Public Thames Path along the South Bank. The building was completed in 2003 and the architects were Foster and Partners and very much in their style.
There is a story on this. I took my first picture quite close to the building so had strayed a few yards from the public path though as is often the case there are no demarcation signs or other indications. A man then rushed up to me to say no pictures were allowed. Not the usual Security Guard but the building Manager no less. He said that residents were fed up with pictures being taken. It did occur to me that residents in a beautiful building next to a public path should have clicked that a few pictures might be taken. However instead I said to him OK, I will move to the public path and take pictures from there. Here it gets a little weird as, possibly in desperation, he then says no pictures allowed from the path as it would be breach of the copyright in the building. I told him I doubted that but moved on a short distance and double checked the law using my smartphone. The position is that there is copyright in a building but it only applies to prohibit pictures without a licence taken from private areas. Also the Copyright belongs to the Architect and would have to be transferred to the building owner for them to enforce it which is unlikely. In the UK there is specific exemption from any claim to breach of copyright in the case of a picture taken from a public space. This is called Freedom of Panorama. It applies in most countries but not all and for example does not apply in France
Having double checked the legal position I then used a longer lens and took more pictures of the building from the public path including this one. The building manager was not around by this time and I did not get challenged again. The area of cloud in just the right position for this picture was a lucky break.
The shot was taken with a Sony A68 with a Tamron 28-200mm lens at 28 mm. 3 images for HDR. The image was processed with Photomatix 6 using tone balancer for a natural look. Topaz Clarity was used to add detail. I decided a high contrast mono would be ideal. I used Topaz BW Effects for the conversion using the sliders to enhance the blacks and whites.

Beelitz Heilstätten was a lung sanatoriums, built between 1898 and 1930 by the Berlin State Insurance Institution. It is one of the largest hospital complexes in the Berlin area and consists of an ensemble of 60 buildings on a total area of approximately 200 ha.
This image is from the house C of the sanatorium for men and is located south of the railroad station. Unfortunately, all buildings are nearly empty meanwhile.
“I think you’re a fairy tale. I think you’re magical, and brave, and exquisite. And I hope you'll let me be in your story.”
― Laini Taylor, Strange the Dreamer
This collage gathers the next pictures on this set. Please note a couple of things before making any judgement. First, the picture of the doves was shoot about 20 minutes earlier than the second picture. Second, take in count that the airplanes were moving, so what I did during the sequence was shoot one after another during one minute (aprox. the time they took to pass from west to east and head north). Please also note that one of the objects seems to be far away and in the forth shoot it looks very close compared with the second picture. Finally, and most important, I didn´t get to notice this objects until I was reviewing my pictures, deciding which ones to upload. Scary uh? Look at the original size and comment please.
