Doing my Newstart budget. Trying to stretch $17 a day across bills, food, transport and groceries. It's too low.
Why am I living on Newstart for a week? Find out why it's too low and needs to be increased at greensmps.org.au/newstart.
Debbie Burns, Youth Works Coordinator at Include Youth, welcomes everyone.

I knitted three scarves before Christmas using this Patons Curly yarn. One for me and two to give away as presents.
I have now had a request for another one, so here is my first new knitting project for the New Year. :)
Veterans Memorial Park is located at Mile Marker 40 on the Overseas Highway (US Rte One) in the Florida Keys. It's a nice park, good for fishing, picnicking, swimming, and photographing the sunrise!

Recently this has been my favorite food. All of the sudden I started eating it a lot and it's my favorite. I tried making my own ^^^example, and it turned out O.K. but we didn't have any tomatoes, and I accidentally melted the feta cheese, and there was too much parsley. My mom always said you can never have to much parsley, but I guess you can. Anyways life has been pretty dull lately. I made a new friend and that's it. Same old same old in my life. Schools almost over, camp starts in 2 weeks. cape cod in 3. I still have a lot to do before we go to the cape. Sounds girly but I really need a pedicure, manicure, and my eyebrows done. Oh and today marks the start of my photo journal. I'll be updating this weekly/daily not sure how often but I'll try my hardest to update often. So that's basically it. :)
Pretty tough day today. Lots of odd jobs and cleaning the house from top to bottom, ready for a new start.
Cathartic, but tiring, so I've definitely earned a nice relaxing bath :)

I like to measure the passing of time in terms of haircuts - which I guess makes me part hipster, part existentialist
Due to last-minute availability, I was able to see Mr.Big sooner than expected. It's been an awful 10 days since I saw the nutritionist. It appears that her advice has actually made me a lot worse - what I understood to be my healthy third "meal" of the day actually turns out to be a hypo-inducing "snack". After 2 days, I was already feeling like I'd been out drinking and clubbing all night every night. Suffice it to say, after 10 days, I felt a lot worse....
After just one day following the new correct version of the diet, I am now feeling a lot better.
For anyone that's wondering about what "insulin resistance" is, it's basically the little brother of Type 2 Diabetes. So while having to control my insulin levels with diet is an almighty pain, I am at least blessed with still being able to produce my own insulin to deal with incoming food. Unlike a Type 1 or 2 diabetic, I probably don't run the risk of actually ending up in a coma, though it's not a theory I wish to test...

The annual Pride Parade was held in Valencia 3 weeks ago but the flags and billboards can still be seen around the city and on governmental buildings. I’m proud to live in such a normal community, specially while in my home country so many people believe the Billy Elliot play can actually turn children gay... Happy Pride March, Budapest!

This used to be my room.
It was for my whole adult life; leading up to now.
My Mum is moving out today. So everything I own has been packed, given to charity, thrown out.
I am going to be living at my dads for the shortest time possible. Whilst I sort out my job and place to live in London.
So I can finally get myself there, and start the rest of my life.

Have a great new year ahead. May all your wishes come true and your troubles last as long as your new year resolutions. May you get all things bright and beautiful in your life just like the bokeh.
Tune of Choice: What Love Really Means by JJ Heller
February buds. New life. New day. New beginning.
"...They said to Jesus, 'Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery...' But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger...He said to them, 'If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her...' At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time...Jesus straightened up and asked her, 'Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?' 'No one, sir,' she said. 'Then neither do I condemn you,' Jesus declared. 'Go now and leave your life of sin.' [John 8:3-11]
