VERNETZT
Die Zeit verrinnt,
die Spinne spinnt
beflissen ihr Netz.
Schwebend im Raum,
man sieht es kaum.

A rose leaf was eaten by tiny caterpillars. Only the network of veins remained. I back-lit a portion of the leaf and took a macro shot. Well, I have no macro lens but tried my best. No crop. Usually, I don't crop photos. Hope you will like it.

Close-up of a small spider painstakingly repairing it's wind-damaged web on a bush in my garden. I had many failed shots as I was using a slow shutter speed and the spider would not stop moving it's tiny "hands" as it feverishly repaired it's web.

Shot at f/11 but as lens does not talk to camera, not recorded in Exif.

I captured this scene from an overpass near Bologna Centrale station, across from the signal house with its steel framework spanning the tracks. In the center of the structure a large clock was mounted, clearly visible above the converging rails and electrical lines.
The design of the signal house itself stood out to me, its elevated form and intricate framework contrasting with the dense infrastructure of tracks, wiring, and surrounding urban buildings.

United Kingdom, London, Oxford Circus Tube Station, Winter 2024
The London Underground (also known simply as the Underground or as the Tube) is a rapid transit system serving Greater London and some parts of the adjacent home counties of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire in England. It opened on 10 January 1863 as the world's first underground passenger railway. The network has expanded to 11 lines with 400 km of track with 272 stations and it collectively accommodates up to 5 million passenger journeys a day. The tube is an international icon for London, with the tube map, considered a design classic, having influenced many other transport maps worldwide.
