J'ai réalisé ce modèle à partir d'une photo prise du barrage de Glen Canyon vu de côté. En effet, la courbe au centre est le sommet du barrage et on peut voir ses bords de chaque côté. L'eau du fleuve Colorado est retenue à gauche du barrage. Je ne sais pas si ce modèle est des plus compréhensibles pour d'autres que moi-même, mais je suis plutôt content d'avoir pu obtenir un effet de profondeur. Ce modèle était plutôt complexe à réaliser.
I made this model from a picture taken on the side of Glen Canyon barrage. Indeed, the curve on the center is the top of the barrage and we can see the downward slopes on each side. Water from the Colorado river is held on the left of the barrage. I don't know if this model is the most comprehensible for others than myself, but I am quite happy to have managed to get a depth effect. This model was quite complex to realize.

Not much traffic in Ong, so the grass has encroached on the roadway. The old school is now privately owned and fairly well maintained. The blue sky in the windows is not from a missing roof, it's just a reflection in the tinted windows.

Built in 1870 but inactive from 1971 to 1993. The 35 foot tall wooden tower is mounted on a 2 story Empire style wooden keeper's house. A 6th order Fresnel lens was installed in 2013 as part of the extensive renovation carried out by the Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation. Their work has restored the lighthouse to it's 1912 appearance. The first floor of the keeper's house is now a museum, and the second floor is available for overnight visits. The light signal is a white flash every 6 seconds.
The lighthouse is located on the southwest tip of Rose Island which is located in the center of Narragansett Bay and just off the Jamestown-Newport bridge. Much of Rose Island is off limits to visitors from April through August, since it is a bird sanctuary for mating and chick rearing of gulls, oyster catchers and other birds.

Former Chicago & Northwestern station in Pierce, NE is now relocated in Pierce's Gilman Park. Probably built in the 1880 by Fremont, Elkhorn, & Missouri Valley Railroad that was taken over by C&NW in the early 1900's.
