Made this for Tommy Williamson's Bricknerd Nerdvember contest.Basically tried to comicly adapt this really cool Gentle Giant statue i love, only slightly more nerdified, but then the r2 body came out so clean i had to make it a real r2 head to do him justice. might take a more serious stab at leia too when i have time
Disney owns Star Wars...so how can I resist this for Nerdvember 2016?!
Most likely my last entry. Let me know your thoughts! :)
Built during Beyond the Brick's 24 hour live stream for Creations for Charity.
Built for Bricknerd's Nerdvember Contest.
I really liked the visual of the 'ball of Groot,' surrounding the other Guardians to keep them safe. Wasn't easy to build and a bit disappointed by how difficult it was to photograph and get the depth of the 'ball'. Overall, pleased.
Can't have a Nerd without a Rubik'scube :p
When I saw that my good friend Tommy was doing another round of Nerdly Pimping, I had to do at least one :)
I'll try to build some more if I find the time.

I did not think I still had a Nerdly in me (it's my 15th!).. but there you have it: Sloth-Nerd!
If you think of the eighties, you have to think of the Goonies, right?
Happy Nerdvember everyone!
A fantasy adventure where Lord of the Rings sort of meets Game of Thrones. The Snow Guardian is just too cool to be left out.
And yes I am double dipping for Nerdvemeber and Brickscalibur, Frozen wilds category.
I'm really happy about this LEGO creation and I also managed to add a couple of NPUs. The dragon was inspired by the horse battle helmet and i manage to add in some lightsaber and a sausage. I am quite happy also about the tree made with rifle and gun.

Time again to sum up the MOC-year! This year was a crazy one for sure.
I had a lot of fun participating in a lot of the different challenges and contest out there in our awesome community. So a big thanks to all the people that invest their time in organizing all that. From Iron forge to Summer joust as well as Brickscalibur and Nerdvember. Not to mention Febrovery and SHIPtember that's always a lot of fun.
One of the highlights was of course participating in Lego Masters Sweden together with my friend Emma. What an adventure that was! To end up winning the whole thing was truly an experience of a lifetime.
Because of Covid there weren't many exhibitions this year either, but I was very glad that Skaerbaek fan-weekend was held and that I was able to go there. Always a treat to hang out with all the great people down there. Not to mention the privilige it is to write for BrickNerd and to interact with all those beautiful nerds.
Even though Lego masters ate up quite a bit of time, I still had a pretty decent output in terms om MOCs this year, so thank you very much to everyone that faved and commented on all my builds, I really appreciate it! And thank you again to TBB and all the other blogs out there that showcase my builds, I'm truly greatful for that :)
Hopefully 2023 will be a better year for the world as a whole, and that we can continue to use Lego as a way to deal with everything that's going on around us. Take care everyone, see you next year!
Built for my Iron Builder round against Mike Nieves, and for Nerdvember 2015.

My entry for the Nerdvember 2017 building contest.
This build mimics an iconic shot from the art museum sequence in the classic 80's John Hughes movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Watching this sequence brought tears to my eyes!
Hi everybody ! Here is my 8th and last entry for NerdVember contest for Bricknerd.
It was a great pleasure to imagine this MOCs during this month !
Now it's the end of the month and time to prepare christmas !

So let it snow... with NerdSnowMan !!
Enjoy !!
And see you soon...
With the recent release of Finding Dory, I couldn't resist doing a baby Dory Nerdly for Nerdvember 2016, since Pixar is technically owned by Disney.
Hoping to get another entry in soon!
Enjoy! :D

Had to give this another go this year.
One of my absolute favourite shows growing up was the A-team (if you listen closely you may still hear the soundtrack...sshhh...) and one of my my favourite movies was Rocky III. So when this years theme was the 80s, well I really had no choice ;)
So here goes, B.A. Baracus aka Clubber Lang aka Mr. T!
First one to say his catch-phrase wins, haha!
A parody from a famous painting by Johannes Vermeer - Girl with a Pearl Earring.
Made this for Nerdvember 2015. Hope you guys like it :)

Rorschach (Watchmen)
Made for Nervember 2021 contest on Bricknerd.
Instructions available on Rebrickable
One theme was to build a comics character bust taking size model on exclusive event sets.
There is still a few time to enter the contest and win the possibility to have a custom cover art based on your creation.
My character choice was rorschach from the watchmen comics.
I love so much this one and the way the face is changing from one emotion to another.
What was funny by building this one is it was the same for me, making the face design several time, one time making it too agressive, one time too happy... to finally find a balance I feel...
"The very things that hold you down are going to lift you up." — Timothy Mouse, Dumbo.
I built this for Nerdvember 2016.
Last month, I've joined the BrickNerd team. Yeeehaaa! I'll try to share useful and fun content, so stay tuned!
But now, it's time for another awesome contest - Nerdvember! The theme is Comics and you'd have to build an Event Exclusive type build. The prizes are insane - only exclusive sets. And the grand prize is even crazier - your build turned into a comics cover art by the same amazing artist that's doing the exclusive sets art! Say whaaaaat :D
I can't win the cover art (damn it!) or the other prizes, but I still can build stuff, so here it is, the nerdiest Bad Batch character - Tech. Cause you can build one of 3 different things for the contest - a character bust, an iconic scene or a ship/ vehicle. Or all 3!
Everything about the contest here.

I wanted to make a build for NERDvember, and since everyone builds Nerdly characters I thought I'd do something a little different. A Nerdly glasses holder!

It's Nerdvember, which means a new contest over at BrickNerd with some amazing prizes, it's the High Fantasy Edition. There's also a flickr group, but you can submit your entries via instagram too.
Andreas already made a mean ice dragon bust, but I'm so much in love with dragons, I had to build one too. His name is Nurdley The Dragon (boom, you didn't expect that), as I remembered a TV series I watched as a kid, called Dudley The Dragon :D Nurdley is a nerdy little dragon and he enjoys building castles, not destroying them.
Can't wait for all the entries and all the awesome ideas that you guys will come up with :))))
Built for Nerdvember 2017!

In case you weren\'t aware there was a ton of thievery at Brickcon this year.
First Si-MOCs stole a bunch of mocs from everyone.
Then Brickbaron stole the show.
But the real tragedy was the unexpected vanishing of Flat Tommy. Since then the culprit has been identified: the illusive nerdly. Unfortnately there\'s no way to capture him, since in November he becomes a master of disguise, taking a bunch of different faces daily (he seems to prefer Star Wars this year). Therefore Flat Tommy may be gone forever.
(Sorry Simon, I just had to. :D )
From days of long ago, from the uncharted regions of the nerdy-verse, comes a legend, the legend of Nerdtron: Defender of the 80's! A mighty robot loved by good, feared by evil! This totally tubular titan is comprised of some of the most iconic pop culture vehicles of the 80's, such as the Ecto-1, DeLorean time machine, A-Team Van, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon, and Nerdly forms the head. Sporting a glorious mullet, shoulder pads, and a walkman, our heroic 80's icons are ready to take on the Shredder, Biff, ghosts, or any other evil foe that threatens our nostalgia!
This is my entry for the Nerdvember contest on Bricknerd. If this isn't the nerdiest, most 80's thing you've ever seen, I don't know what is!
