Nerdvember 2016
My contribution to Nerdvember over on Brick Nerd. I did everyone's fav Star Wars character the Exogorth!
I also have an account on Instagram
Spider-Nerdly, Spider-Nerdly,
Does whatever a Spider-Nerdly does.
Can he swing from a web?
Of course he can, he's a Nerdly,
Look out, he is a Spider-Nerdly!
Probably not Nerdly's go-to emotional state, but sometimes Lego.com crashes repeatedly when you're trying to get the Endurance GWP, and when the site finally reloads, it says sold out...
Build for Nerdvember 2024
I was quite happy with my original Jabba the Nerd
... but then...
decided to take the competition to a whole different level... so, here is the pro version.

A last minute entry for this year's Nerdvember.
I had thought of a couple possibilities for this contest given the vast amount of plausible characters to Nerd-i-fy, but this one seemed the most viable given the time I had left (such a procrastinator!). Plus... bling bling!
Nerdly is right at home scavenging the desolate plains of Jakku. An entry for the TBB Pimp Rey's Speeder contest, and BrickNerd's NERDvember, two birds with one stone!
Last month, I've joined the BrickNerd team. Yeeehaaa! I'll try to share useful and fun content, so stay tuned!
But now, it's time for another awesome contest - Nerdvember! The theme is Comics and you'd have to build an Event Exclusive type build. The prizes are insane - only exclusive sets. And the grand prize is even crazier - your build turned into a comics cover art by the same amazing artist that's doing the exclusive sets art! Say whaaaaat :D
I can't win the cover art (damn it!) or the other prizes, but I still can build stuff, so here it is, the nerdiest Bad Batch character - Tech. Cause you can build one of 3 different things for the contest - a character bust, an iconic scene or a ship/ vehicle. Or all 3!
Everything about the contest here.
"Negola dewaghi wool dugger?"
―Ponda Baba
Ponda Baba, poor sod. He picked one too many fights with the wrong guys.
This build started with me trying to build eyes with mudguards. The shape of the eyes made me think of Ponda Baba. And so, the rest of the build formed around it. I'm pleased with how sad he looks. Maybe he is mourning his lost arm and friend?
My second entry for the NerdVember 2021 contest.
Jabba's Palace Decorator: "I think Jabba will not be so happy about this...oh well..."
Made this for Nerdvember 2015. Hope you guys like it :)

Built for my Iron Builder round against Mike Nieves, and for Nerdvember 2015.

My work for the last few months has been filled with anatomy projects so I decided to extend that to my Nerdvember build.
If you have ever wondered what's inside a Nerdly brick wonder no longer.
A second entry into the Bricknerd Nerdvember Contest.
A little desk model of one of the many gantry systems MCU Tony Stark used to get into his armor. I like how the shiny bits give it an industrial feel, though it's 'playability' leaves a lot to be desired.
Time to nerd some animations films...
Carl Fredricksen is the protagonist in Up... and a supporter of Bricknerd :)
Enjoy !
Done for Nerdvember 2015 !
Built for Bricknerd's Nerdvember Contest.
I really liked the visual of the 'ball of Groot,' surrounding the other Guardians to keep them safe. Wasn't easy to build and a bit disappointed by how difficult it was to photograph and get the depth of the 'ball'. Overall, pleased.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, one of the greatest action movies of all time, and the Marvel comics of the same title that were released to tie in with the movie release. To celebrate this occasion, I have created a bust of one of the iconic T-800 Endoskeletons as seen in the opening scene for this year's Nerdvember challenge. Built in the same style as official LEGO event exclusive character busts and equipped with two light bricks to light up the eyes with the press of a button on each side of the skull, this detailed display piece is designed to look authentic and make every LEGO and Terminator fan go: "I want that!"
Hey hey ! It's nerdly smurf time...
I smurf this smurf for the nerdly smurf month organized by smurfy bricknerd site... I think it could be a smurf idea. Smurf it !!
In french we call it Schtroumpf !! As a comic strip fan... this look obvious for me :)
Done for NerdVember (6th entrie...)
I built this for the Nerdvember 2021 Comic contest in the scene category. I chose to recreate the iconic TARDIS console from the tv show Doctor Who.
You can see additional pictures and read more about the build here: legohobbitbuilder.wordpress.com/2021/11/30/the-tardis-con...
Second entry to Nerdvember.
Figured I'd combine two of my favourite things coming out of the 80s, classic space and star wars.
Hey guys! Are you building something for Nerdvember? If not, you should!
You can build an Event Exclusive type build and win one as well! The theme is Comics and you can do Marvel, DC, Star Wars and more! You have 11 days, till the end of November, to build and submit your entry either on instagram or flickr.
Just have fun and build something!
You can submit your entry in the dedicated flickr group here. Full contest rules here.
Ohhhhh... Nohhhh.... I'm so sad.... Nerdvember will end in a few days.... I hope I'll not change the happy core memories into sad ones...
Enjoy !
Done for Nerdvember 2015 ! My first attempt on photoshop :) Light use for the moment...
“Check it!” This is my second entry for this year's Nerdvember Contest .
This nerdly is based on one of my favorite characters from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Director Purah! The character and her design are fun and effervescent which I tried to convey here in the design and posing.
This MOC was so much fun to build and I am incredibly happy with the result.
My 4th and most likely last entry in the 2014 Nerdvember contest.
For this one I knew I was going to need some help to get the right effect... so, I reached out to my friend Pixelfox who happens to be a Photoshop Black belt.
I came up with the build, he gave it a bit of life!
Bonus "making-of"!
Here is a shot of how the Nerdly is built... and this picture will give you an idea of what some good picture edits will do to your MOC, enjoy!
Time to get building for Nerdvember - High fantasy edition!
Getting in the mood for all the sweet castle contests, so couldn't help but build a dragon to get this Nerdvember started properly :)
That is, the un-nerdy version of the Nerdy Batman I made for NERDvember 2015 (too many 'nerds' on one sentence? :-D).
Built for NERDvember 2015 on BrickNerd
EDIT: Eye problem fixed. Sorry for those who commented and faved! ^^'
Time to mashup BrickNerd's mascot Nerdly and a podracer from Star Wars for NERDvember 2015! In my imagination this is what it could look like... if you watch closely you can spot two pairs of Nerdlies glasses.
Made this for Tommy Williamson's Bricknerd Nerdvember contest.Basically tried to comicly adapt this really cool Gentle Giant statue i love, only slightly more nerdified, but then the r2 body came out so clean i had to make it a real r2 head to do him justice. might take a more serious stab at leia too when i have time
