When waves of light and a joyful sunrise mood flow over you, then negative space can become a very positive thing.

100 Flowers 2020

I took this one back in April when I did a multiple exposure of this fuchsia and forgot to post this one. I was having a bit of a clear out of images and came across it...one more ticked off the list.

I may not be able to get internet connection for the next few days so will do my best to catch up after the weekend.

These posts circled London in Victorian times. If you brought coal into London beyond these posts there was tax to pay.

Many of the paths into London became main roads where some can still be seen (this one is in Hertfordshire), but some paths never became roads, and the odd post can still be found on forest paths.

Given a minimal treatment.

from a slow waltz to a tempestuous tango.

Close your eyes and... simply feel the wind on your face.

Week30: Negative Space

We are experiencing the hottest days of the entire summer 40º (104 ° F) in the shade, or what is the same, we are melting like Olaf in Frozen 😅

This week I took this photo totally on the go. We were going to the underground, Miguel wanted an ice cream, so we knew we had approximately one minute before the ice cream started to drip. It was the time it took us to cross the street and get to the underground. The stairs were so empty that they caught my attention. So while Miguel's taste buds were celebrating so much freshness I decided to freeze the moment with my camera. I wish you the coolest weekend you can have!! 😋

To continue with the bipolar emotions here, this woman was calmly walking underground in Paris with her child as the streets above were flooded with people gathering to watch the World Cup.

The rink is up and going skates are being rented, fun on the ice, that means 2021 is almost history, Leaf on Ice for a negative frame for Crazy Tuesday.

I don't know if I did this right, or if it's any good ... but I tried!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES!

Street photo is about capturing moments that go by fast. It could be anything, from the expression on the face of a random person to just people doing their every day thing. Lots of contrasting scenes, elements static and fast moving. And that's exactly what caught my eye here and conveyed me to compose a photo. And since it's Friday, I can't think of a better photo to post rather than one that has a fence in it! HFF y'all and happy weekend ahead.

That's for my dear friend t4tO_ who wrote a marvelous testimonial. Take a look to his photostream, it's amazing.

Thanks my friend

I had a spare 1/2 an hour to kill before tea was ready and exported a couple of square foot of garden with a few old M42 lenses and a stack of extension tubes.

This is shot with a Helios 44, lots of colour work and sharpening for sliders.

Negative Space ---- 52 Week Challenge, 14:52

Taken a couple of months ago while sitting on a bench on the Damariscotta River.

Have no idea what this bird is...any guess? Its not really the sharpest image but perhaps someone can give me a hint.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone. I'm going to try and use my camera - wahoo!

These images were taken over a year ago at a wildlife refuge area. We were surprised at how close these deer came to us. I didn't think that I had gotten anything worth posting but my editing skills have gotten better and with a little polishing I thought I would share. I'm not a wildlife photographer. I don't have the patience or the proper lens. But when they are right in front of you, you gotta!!

Please view in Large screen!

I captured this scene near Mayen, Germany.

Background: black plastic tray. Light: available light bay window. Thread: Mabel's Coffee: second cup. Made a cup for Ziggy, Satchel and Mabel.

I love focusing on the small details in nature. Here a moss capsule, on a frosty wall, is lit by the morning sun.

I love taking Flower shots when the light good. To me, the best light is overcast. No harsh shadows.

A beautiful foggy sunrise taken from the deck behind our house. Usually I would see several other farms on the horizon, power lines and cell phone towers in this view. All invisible in the fog. If you look at the right of the frame you can see the fog hovered a few feet off the ground.
