What does it mean to be an observer vs. a participant.....? In any time? In these times?
We are called upon to act up against injustice as part of our humanity. What are the ways we can continue to do so?

Cool halo around the sun today, I had of course to pull over when I saw this wonder.
I love signs.
Always on the look out for signs, without being obsessed, hehe, nono, not obsessed at all 😂
For the Crazy Tuesday Theme of ‘Negative Space.’ ( I have a robin pic for every eventuality 😉)
Many thanks for the comments on this picture.
This little fellow was perched on top of the roof of an adjoining restaurant as we were enjoying a great Italian meal in St. Martin. . Needless to say he caught my attention and I had to try to grab a shot.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
I thought you guys might be missing the little ladybirds so I hunted one down just for you :-). I was actually holding the plant this lady was on and rotating it as she ran around - not easy to get the focus right but I liked the way this one turned out.
Thank you for viewing. If you like please fav and leave a nice comment. Hope to see you here again. Have a wonderful day 😊

Crazy Tuesday Theme: Negative space
Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
I was in London near Aldergate for work. I was starting my walk back to the station but it was a lovely day with some great light and shadows. I spotted this triangle of light under a bridge and waited until some unwitting victims were passing to make the scene work. A few people passed by but I particularly liked these four, with just one figure not wearing black and all pulling along their suitcases on wheels, an increasingly popular accessory for the modern commuter it seems. I didn’t have a camera with me so used my iPhone with a camera app that gives manual control.
Two Police helicopters; if they catch you speeding up there, they pull you over at the nearest big cloud and take your details.

.. one more picture taken on the epic photowalk with my friend [https://www.flickr.com/photos/gaphiker] .. the buildings are close to the High Line Park in Manhattan .. I tried to put the old and just new emerging structure in contrast .. enjoy :)
Fun with negative space. Optical illusion.
I've lightened the image a bit since posting it initially. This has resulted (at least for me) in the loss of the optical illusion. It seems that a darker shade in the leaves is needed to trick the eye to focus on the negative white space. I think, going forward, I will from time to time darken and lighten the image, so as to make the illusion visible for a while.
This weekend, I took care of Leonie, my best friend's daughter. She was traveling professionally. In the evening we went for a walk. It was so quiet and wonderful warm air. Suddenly Leonie said: "Greta, Greta, you have to take a picture, the sky is like honey!" I had to smile, but as usual Leonie was somehow right. :) I took the picture and showed it to her on the small monitor of the camera. Leonie sighed and said, "Too bad the sky is not pink!" At home I fulfilled her wish with the pink sky. I already posted this photo, you can see it in the first comment.
Thanks for viewing and commenting and fave, Leonie and I really appreciate that very much :-)
Happy Tuesday everyone!
