Needs more practice to achieve better seemlessness, but I'm pretty pleased with the initial colour and fit.

This old pickup might need paint but it's also well loved - notice how they carefully turn the mirror in to protect it from street traffic.

Ace Cafe Charity Meet

I honestly felt like I was intruding on this moment. My friend, the lady on the right, had just performed her senior cello recital, and received this hug in congratulations. I feel like you can see the importance of the moment on her face; a genuine embrace.

What do you think Mina is telling me here?

Last night I stayed up until late late pulling this girl together. I was SO excited about Ichigo Heaven but never really bonded with her. When Tailor Gibson showed up I was amazed at her gorgousness but underwhelmed with her "pretty" look. Unfortunately I spray matted her in the dark pretty much and ended up with some slight spots. I would rather live with them than lose her freckles and pretty blush. I think I want to switch her forward facing blue chips for light green.

Help me find this fellow a home.

He's 3-6 months old. Found by a friend early morning on Sept. 13 outside of Oaks Card Club in Emeryville. No tags or microchip. Been with me for about a month.

A delightful, loving little guy who appreciates attention and enjoys meeting new people and animals. Fond of rabbits, especially. Purrs like a motorboat and mews like a mouse. Always adorable, at sleep or at play.

Very sociable. Needs someone who is home more often than I or has another cat to keep him company.

Update

Through the magic of Flickr, little guy has been adopted by the wonderful Esme. He will now roam a big city apartment with lots of company and a doting mama. Feeling a bit tender, but pleased he found a good permanent home.

Needs to be redone. Unfortunately, they didn't fix his front calf knees and his back legs aren't repositioned correctly, or he'd be a fun project. He's really only repositioned from the hip down--they didn't move his hips themselves. See the difference?

Lago Deseado, Tierra del Fuego.

Went a walk up by the Ericht. This place used to give me the absolute heebie-jeebies when I was a kid. It's still there, just a wee bit more dilapidated than 30 years ago.
