Oh boy! Last 2 weeks were like hell for me at work. Was loaded and loaded with work. At one point I decided I really need a break!
I quickly packed my bags and left for a trek. Far away, really far away from the computers and work. And guess what I did there? Just slept in the middle of the jungle enjoying the company of these colorful butterflies :) Nature has its own way of recharging us!
Needed a big splash of bright colour to post in between the other two photos for today, LOL. It's been a gorgeous day today, with a continuation of the spectacular hoar frost we've had the last few days - plus sunshine! Decided to drive just south of the city this morning to enjoy seeing a blue sky for a change. By the afternoon, the hoar frost had disappeared. We are in for a few "warmer" days ahead, thank goodness.

Children in Need have confirmed their support of our Street Sports Programme from 2015-2017. They have allocated a total of £66,000 towards our programme supporting young people here in Guernsey. The money will be split evenly over the next 3 years and will enable us to continue delivering the 3 evening sessions.
okay, im sorry but i need to vent and i have no one to vent to so i figured i would just write down all my thoughts here. now im sorry for this and you dont have to comment and try and make me feel better, because no matter what anyone says it would be quite hard to change my mind.
so lets start from this photo...september 2010, as you can see by my perfect collar bones, i had finally reached my perfect body 107 lbs. all the running and eating healthy gave me exactly what i wanted. i had the body i always dreamed of, the perfect running body, i was so quick and thin.
9 months past and im not this thin anymore. now i have "hypothyroid" (i used to have hyper is can switch itself very easily) so if you don't know what hypothyroid is, basically its a condition where you gain weight for no reason and its extremely hard to lose weight.
so nine months later, i dont have this body anymore...and i dont even want to say how much weight ive gained because its embarassing...so now my life sucks i worked so hard for that body, i always rejected any junkfood offered to me and my diet was perfect! i ran over 30 km a week and life was perfect.
now that i have hypothyroid i still keep those same habits up...i try and eat as healthy as i can and i try to run my best...but im not seeing any results. like ive been trying so hard to get that body back but it doesnt work becuase of this stupid thyroid condition.
im sorry i dont know where this is going but im just so mad and upset and confused. and i cant even take pictures of myself because i look so fat.
ugh im sorry whatever.
this makes no sense, im sorry i have no one to vent to and it just makes me feel a bit better knowing that maybe someone read this and maybe someone understands how i feel.

Half the boards were broken or missing. Used the sides as much as the rails to support weight when climbing up or down this old contraption.

I need M1 steel pot helmet's, Brickarms srgt. torso's, samurai armor, and dark gray RR helmets.
DO NOT RESERVE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE ITEMS I HAVE REQUESTED
To make these you'll need empty glass jars, two-component glue (water-soluble eco-friendly glue won't work), glitter for the snow, ½ teaspoon glycerine for each jar ( to make the glitter float longer) and maybe some sort of preservative (like you use for jam) to make sure that the water doesn't go bad too quick.
We used some old plastic toys and we made some trees and mushrooms from "cernit"
They don't last forever. I didn't glue the lids so we can empty them and save them for next year. I you have small kids who like to explore the world you might want to glue the lid on ;)
I attempted to catch a single sea gull landing when my shots were photo bombed by others.

Volunteers Needed! These photos show the trash currently in this historic stream. We can certainly use your help! Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Reclaim the Bay! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!
