I got Pierino from my father in the late 70's.... or early 80's....can't remember. These matchbox-sized mascots were quite popular among kids - and "grown-up kids" too :-)) -
I've kept mine, all these years, in its box inside my bedside table drawer....
He was quite happy to come out and pose for my 105mm Nikkor.

Not entirely sure what this is on the account of eye ring, black beak and feet. It was by the side of a lake in a bush with a variety of other birds. Townsend Solitaire ? Thrush?
We need to locate the circle in two directions, add another dimension to the circle, this time from the centre to the end of the rectangle. The process is nearly identical to the last screen.
Then we need to change the values given the these dimensions. Make them both 12.5
so i went out into the forest today and tried my hand at some HDR pictures. now i dident want those crappy, two exposure pictures that seem to have glowing edges so i took the pictures in RAW (as always) and took about six photos. when i got home i tried to merge the photos into a single photo using photoshop. now if your reading this and thinking " hey why dont you use photomatix?" well the reason is because i dont pirate software and i dont have any money :) Anyway, so i click on the OK button after the photos are selected in photoshop to merge and after about an HOUR the load bar is at half way with the words "not responding at the top" so i go and click the CPU usage button and low and behold im 100% on CPU usage and out of virtual memory. well after a second hour of retrying the procedure i figured, hey why dont i go and try to do this on my dads desktop, it might have more power. well after 30 minutes of installing all the updates and camera raw stuff, THE SAME THING HAPPENED! 100%CPU usage and full virtual memory.... i need to do this on a mac.
Please help clean up the historic shoreline of Bear Creek and Chalesmont Park where both the British and American set up defensive positions during the War of 1812, Battle of North Point. The British also used this location to evacuate their wounded and POW’s. Charlesmont Park was also the location were the Veterans of the War of 1812 celebrated Defender’s Day for over 75 years! This event will be run in conjunction with American Rivers, Trash Free Maryland and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay as part of their Annual Project Clean Stream Event.
Registration will be located at the intersection of Park Haven and Gray Haven Road (Near Bear Creek Elementary School), Dundalk, MD 21222. Looks for the registration tents and the “Clean Bread and Cheese Creek Banners. Registration will open at 8:00 am, and the cleanup will run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them.

Got a low tire when out on the bike and need some air. Unless you have a dollar in your pocket, don't stop at the Petrocan in Gibsons. What a suprise to find this. I walked across the street to Chevron and filled it there.
Everything needed to make my custom strap, except for a couple of small rubber washers. Two pieces of webbing, one for the shoulder strap (at least 7' long) and one for the underarm strap (can be much shorter). Two small carabiners (which could just as easily have been any number of less expensive clips). Two rappel rings (again, could have been any number of less expensive rings found in a hardware store). One eye bolt and nut w/ the standard US tripod mount threading of 1/4x20.
Need flour? 10kg should last a while.
I suggest selling unused amounts in small transparent zip lock bags on the street corner.
Need to take a dolly therapy before i continue with my studies~ xp

I want to show her, what I would do with LF and so I made this studies in digital to give her an impression of the special low speed approach, when you use LF.
