Hi guys,
Was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of bird this is?! Would be really helpful for my dissertation! Thanks :)
Oh, it was taken in late October, at Hurst Spit (South coast UK, Hampshire).
Much appreciated!
HEY I need your help!
I have an upcoming photoshoot where I will be using this chair. My idea is to shoot in the studio, and have a male model beating this interesting chair to death with a crowbar, blowtorch, etc.
I need advice on what my background should be. Any ideas?! Solids? Black or white?

Maybe this is why we used to call him "Metal Mike."

I've decided I like it better.

I so need a scanner! This was done while on the phone with my best friend. The middle I used to call "highways and biways" but it seems to be a common pattern (Like "Hollibaugh"). Not sure what made me fill it in...

I'm growing tired of my face in these 365 photos. Not necessarily my whole self, just my face. This will be changed. Also, my hair just looks really silly.
Today ='d class, Pratt preliminary portfolio review, dinosaur oatmeals, second class, pick-up-food times, work, Animal Crossing, election watching forevs, egg cookin', happy feels, netflix watchin', and boyfriend cuddlin' in that exact order. Over all, a pretty good day and I can't wait to crawl into my bed.

A conversation prompted by the events described in my last three photos. (I didn't get a texted answer, though.)
Looking like part of a buried body sticking out of the beach......
It's just a old glove washed up on Ballywalter beach.
Ok, everybody, I need some critique on some these ballet shots I am going to be posting. I just bit the bullet for a 70-200 2.8. This was my first attempt at using it. Worse possible place to try it out. This was a Ballet Magnificat! worship event at Wallace Hall with only stage lighting. I was seated at the back of the room. Is this as good as it can get with A. dark lit room B. Moving subjects C. Constantly changing stage lights.? I was really hoping for more crisp shots. I was using my monopod. I had no idea how heavy that lens was. Can somebody please check out my exif data and see if it might be something I was doing wrong. I had it set on AV, f2.8 but the shutter speed didn't seem to be quite fast enough. Is this a normal shot for the conditions? or do I just really suck at it? Be honest, I can take it.
For the past 8+ years, I've been using this Olympus C-765 Ultra Zoom--a light-weight point & shoot digital camera with 4 mp & 10X zoom. It has served me well, but limits me, somewhat, in both macro & distance photography. I tried to upgrade, once--buying an Olympus SP-570 UZ--a more powerful point & shoot with 10 mp & 20X zoom--but it was a total failure. Although it was, supposedly, in the same product line & had great reviews, all the controls were different & I could never get a clear photo with it. I wasted $500. I am scheduled to go on a birding trip in September to Monhegan Island, off the coast of Maine. I am considering, again, upgrading my photo gear. I, still, want a small, light-weight point & shoot camera, which I can use with auto-focus, but, hopefully, with better macro & distance capability. Can anyone suggest some cameras that might meet my needs?
