Black-naped Hare (Lepus nigricollis), is well distributed in scrub and grasslands throughout the island. It is nocturnal in habit in most areas and during day time lies up in a well camouflaged sheltered patch in the undergrowth. But in the protected areas such as in national parks, it is active even during the day time, mostly in the morning hours. Black-naped Hare is an almost entirely herbivorous mammal and feeds on grasses, shoots, young leaves etc. It doesn't have definite breeding season and produces one or two young ‘leverets’ at any time of the year (biodiversityofsrilanka.blogspot.com)

On the bus. This lady spent most of the journey either napping or just lost in her music. Silver Efex Pro 2: Kodak Plus-X 125 PX Pro
One minute she was texting and talking on her phone, the next she was knocked out, snoring. The woman next to her just smoked her way through lunch.

As you can tell from these photos, Rexx thoroughly enjoyed his nap Sunday afternoon. I am forever grateful that Rexx doesn't take photos of me when I'm sleeping and post them on Flickr :>)

Coco and Mousie with flower
Smile on Saturday: Show a single flower
Coco is an old dog with some health problems. He gets very anxious if he doesn't know where his stuffed friend "Mousie" is. (We actually have several Mousies, so that if one's in the wash, another is available.) Often Coco will nap with his head resting on Mousie like a pillow, but here he curled him up in a hug, which I thought was pretty cute.

This was the second bird of our Costa Rica trip from earlier this month. We saw many of these Rufous-naped Wrens but they weren’t so easy to photograph because they seem to always be zipping around through the twigs and branches.
We will be doing this trip again next year, if you think you might be interested more information is available here: www.texastargetbirds.com/group-photo-trips/2018-costa-ric...
