20:52 Mother’s Day
Our neighbourhood foxes recently moved with their 6 cubs to a den just a few houses away from ours. Mum was napping in the sun for maybe 45 seconds before the cubs woke up and nap-time was over. She’s so patient with them despite being constantly active; hunting to keep them fed, cleaning them and just generally keeping an eye on their shenanigans.
I’d completely lost my photography mojo until these guys showed up.
On the far western end of Minorca lays the city of Ciutadella, the old capital of the island of Menorca. Balearic Islands, Spain.

Another picture that made me smile as I thought of Raven.
You'd think this was a picture of a dog being devotedly close to her owner.
In reality what you are looking at is a battle for possession of the couch!

So weird that even lion cubs will spend up to 20 hours of the day sleeping or resting.
They are the laziest of the big cats apparently!

Found this recently fledged Wilson's Warbler on the path at Burleigh Murray SP, it alighted on the path, and promptly tucked its head in for a nap! Very cute!

The lady beetle was having a nice afternoon nap until I came along poking my big obtrusive lens into her secret napping spot. She came out, said hello, and returned to her burrow and nap.
The lady beetle is an Asian, 7-spotted (C7) beetle (Coccinella septempunctata). The floral host is the umbel of Queen Anne's lace (Daucus carota).
