Mr Bumblebee is taking a nap! And so that he doesn't get wet, he has found a place where he is protected from the rain! Other insects also take a midday nap, where they sit down on beautiful blossoms and leaves and sometimes linger for half an hour or more! They know exactly how to make their lives a little easier....

The adult male black-naped monarch is about 16 cm long, and is mainly pale azure blue apart from a whitish lower belly.

I was bothering her a bit, with 28cm focal distance of the Samyang 14mm. It was the magic hour for the "Golden Nap!"
Three members of our local whitetail deer herd decided to settle down for a nap on our lawn, while the remaining seven members of the herd settled down in groups of two or three at various places on our lawn. It was a beautiful scene. Fortunately these three were fairly close to the house and I was able to photograph them through a window. Backyard wildlife.
This Yellowleg is checking out a small flock of napping mallards while it has been busy looking for food along the shore as the tide goes out.
Our kitty Frodo loves the sunroom! There are large windows on three sides which overlook the backyard where he can observe all the bird and squirrel activity.
However, in the summertime, as seen here, is favorite pastime is napping on one of the huge cardboard boxes placed next to an open window. Most of the curtains are drawn to help keep down the summer heat, but we keep the curtains pulled back at this window.
After stuffing himself with peanuts and sunflower seeds, this American Red Squirrel takes a short nap. It amazes me that he has such perfect balance and doesn't fall off the branch. Soon after this photo was taken, he was off eating and running around again.

Life in the forest can be quiet and even boring. Sometimes a little nap is in order. This Barred Owl appeared to be in total peace.

I've been caught up with my midterms. Which is over now. Thank whatever is up there. My speaking exam went super, totally nailed that one, but nothing else lol.
The girls spilled drinks on my bed so we had to take out my bedsheets :(
It's all washed fresh and clean, and back now :) Wee.
The package came in the mail today, I got my muffin tray, and other baking stuff. I'm baking muffins tomorrow. Who wants?!
My Halloween went dull. Cause stuff happened and all the things I had planned out for my costume and my party plans went to hell. Although I had to sit in Starbucks and watch 5000000000000lbs girls dressed as french maids and slutty nurses. It was not pleasant.
