Link, Jimmy Dean and Frank taking a nap - I was home for 1/2 a day and this time of day is usually spent sleeping - they need their rest. They have such a rough life.

he really is in a constant state of doing his job: protecting and watching (sometimes herding) his people. it's nice to see him nap.
The napping negro is the name of a famous skateboard graphic that came out in 1993 on World Industries. An original mint condition Jovantae Turner napping negro skateboard deck from 1993 could easily fetch over $1000 dollars on ebay.
These cats were afraid of me, but eventually they let their sleepiness take over and I got close enough.
The little guy really hates it when I interrupt his nap time with my camera.
I went with a black and white version on this one because I felt the original color image was a bit dull. I recommend it be viewed large in order to appreciate the details.

Oriolus chinensis-The Black-naped Oriole is found in many parts of Asia. the Black-naped Oriole has the stripe broadening and joining at the back of the neck. Males and females are very similar although the wing lining of the female is more greenish. The bill is pink and is stouter than in the Golden Oriole.
Today the twins woke from this nap and their pacifiers went away...not on purpose, just by chance. They had a checkup with the doc ...and got through it just fine without it....came home and never bugged Mommy for them...so they were pulled out of the cribs tonight. They fussed a little bit at first..but no screaming or hysterics...which I was afraid of....YAYYYYY! I hope they will sleep through the night...and we will continue the saga tomorrow...
