Nap: a short sleep

I'm really good at sleeping. I don't over sleep or sleep excessively but when I do sleep, I do it well. I think of a nap as a special treat. To lay down in a comfortable spot with a feather pillow and let go. Close your eyes and let worry dream away for a bit. I don't often indulge but a nap fits my idea of luxury. Shut down the list of things to do. Let the pet hair pile a little higher. There isn't anywhere else I need to be or anything else I need to do but nap. Just love it.

I was curious how the birds stand on one leg without falling over. After studying them for several minutes, I became aware that their supporting legs were constantly moving, making small adjustments to keep them in perfect balance. Ah, the wonders of evolution.
