I'm struggling with their name. I need a powdery, sleepy, dreamy, soft, morning, silence name... That's how I see them. Any suggestions?

Thanks! :)

of course i was told the name

when i took it ....

Duck is the common name for numerous species of waterfowl in the family Anatidae. Ducks are generally smaller and shorter-necked than swans and geese, which are members of the same family. Divided among several subfamilies, they are a form taxon; they do not represent a monophyletic group (the group of all descendants of a single common ancestral species), since swans and geese are not considered ducks. Ducks are mostly aquatic birds, and may be found in both fresh water and sea water.

Antheraea polyphemus, the Polyphemus moth, is a North American member of the family Saturniidae, the giant silk moths.[1] It is a tan-colored moth, with an average wingspan of 15 cm (6 in). The most notable feature of the moth is its large, purplish eyespots on its two hindwings. The eyespots give it its name – from the Greek myth of the cyclops Polyphemus. The species was first described by Pieter Cramer in 1776. The species is widespread in continental North America, with local populations found throughout subarctic Canada and the United States. The caterpillar can eat 86,000 times its weight at emergence in a little less than two months.

CP's afternoon Current River job's first task is to pull and spot Viterra C, although in this image its not immediately obvious which elevator is Viterra C. Radio chatter from the crew acknowledges they are at "ugga", but the Agricore United label adorns the bins. To explain this convoluted bit of names lets talk about the quick succession of mergers of grain companies which happened in the early 2000s.

Built originally in 1927 as United Grain Growers A House (or U.G.G.A.) and known as "ugga" for years until United Grain Growers were taken over by Agricore United (AU) in 2001. Late in 2006 AU was the target of takeover bids from SaskPool and James Richardsons & Sons(JRI). Although a merger announcement was made between AU and JRI in Feb 2007, SaskPool was able to sway the tide with a successful bidding war and their offer was accepted in June 2007 and on August 31, 2007, Agricore United and SaskPool rebranded itself as Viterra.

The Agricore chapter of this elevator was short but long enough to have it branded as such. Within months of this shot Viterra will put its brand on this elevator, listing it as Viterra "C" (A and B being down in Intercity). In 2009, Viterra would shutter this elevator and would remain so until late 2012 when Glencore International took over Viterra resulting in James Richardsons & Sons purchasing this facility. JRI soon reopened it and as of this posting in 2023 the elevator is operated as overflow for the bigger Richardsons Terminal next door. It is now known on paper as the Current River Elevator however crews still refer to it as "ugga"- some two decades after United Grain Growers was ever a thing. Even though it may be hard to break a century old habit, it's amazing how names stick.

The name Skipton means 'sheep-town', a northern dialect form of Shipton. Its name derives from the Old English sceap (sheep) and tun (town or village). The name is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. The town was important during the English Civil War, and was the site of prisoner-of-war camps during the First and Second World Wars.

The name comes from the old German words lureln, Rhine dialect for 'murmuring', and the Celtic term ley "rock". The translation of the name would therefore be: 'murmur rock' or 'murmuring rock'. The heavy currents, and a small waterfall in the area (still visible in the early 19th century) created a murmuring sound, and this combined with the special echo the rock produces to act as a sort of amplifier, giving the rock its name.[1] The murmuring is hard to hear today owing to the urbanization of the area. Other theories attribute the name to the many boating accidents on the rock, by combining the German verb lauern ('to lurk, lie in wait') with the same "ley" ending, with the translation "lurking rock".

After the German spelling reform of 1901, in almost all German terms, the letter "y" was changed to the letter "i", but some proper nouns have kept their "y", such as Bayern, Speyer, Spay, Tholey, (Rheinberg-)Orsoy and including Loreley, which is thus the correct spelling in German.
