Name: Voodoom
Secret Identity: Jeram Umbaru
Powers/Abilities: Voodoo, Destructive Magic, Poison
Backstory: After illegal deforestation decimated the land around the village of Tiklan, the village's shaman and healer, Jeram Umbaru, swore vengeance against the members of the group he believed to be responsible. That had led him to Bricklyn city, where he intended to set wrongs right. It didn't take him long to deem the entire city guilty for one groups actions, and since then the elusive witchdoctor has preyed upon the citizens of the city with voodoo, poisons, and everything else in his arsenal.
Recently, authorities have finally managed to locate and detain Jeram, but it is unknown how long they can keep him.
The name Camellia Kyo Nishiki (京錦) translates to 'Kyo Brocade'. The 'Kyo' in the name is short for the name of Japan's old capital, Kyoto, and just means 'capital' as does the kyo in Tōkyo. There are at least two other cultivars, 'Yamoto Nishiki' and 'Taiyo Nishiki', that combine a placename and the word nishiki in the cultivar name.
When looking into the history of this cultivar, a lot of things are uncertain and sources are difficult to find. For example, I have found the claim that Kyo Nishiki must have been bred before 1867 but no reason for that assumption.
What we do know is that Camilla Kyo Nichiki is part of a distinctive type of C. japonica cultivar known as Higo. Higo refers to an old province in Japan (fully known as 肥後国, Higo no kuni), where this type of cultivar was first produced. Higo Province lay on the southern most of the four main islands of Japan, Kyūshū, in today's Kumamoto Prefecture.
The Higo style of camellia cultivar is known for single flowers with a splayed-out flare of stamens in the center. These camellias were prised by members of the Samurai class. In that culture, they were and still are connected to tea gardens and to the tea ceremony, and are used to produce bonsai. There seems again to be some doubt around the Higo's background. I found them described as a hybrid produced from C. japonica and C.rusticana or, via an earlier hybrid (Camellia × vernalis), from C. japonica and C. sasanqua.
Camillia Kyo Nishiki is normally described as having lighter pink stripes with darker accents and as having the typical Higo-style center. Neither of these are present in the flowers of the plant this picture comes from. However, given there was a name tag attached to the plant and that I found it in a botanical garden, I will assume that it is indeed what the tag claims it to be.
As an amusing aside: When searching for Kyo Nishiki, the fifth result that came up for me was my own picture of the same plant, taken a couple of years ago. flic.kr/p/2p6YTp1

Sandro Botticelli, real name Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi (1445 - 1510) - the calumny (1494-1495 approx) - tempera on wood size 62 × 91 cm - Uffizi Gallery Florence
The picture must be read from right to left: King Midas (recognizable by donkey ears), in the role of bad judge, is sitting on the throne, extending his hand to Slander while she is still at some distance from him. Near him, on one side, stand two women, Ignorance and Suspicion; before him lies the Livore (the "grudge"), the man with the black hood, covered in rags holding his arm Calumny, very beautiful woman, who does hair styling as Pitfall and Fraud, while dragging ground the Slandered helpless and with the other hand holding a torch that does not light, the symbol of false knowledge; the old woman on the left is the remorse and the last figure of a woman to your left is the Nuda Veritas, with an eye to the sky, as if to indicate the only true source of justice.

Named for its conspicuous target-shaped eyespots, the common buckeye, Junonia coenia Huber, is one of the most distinctive and readily-identifiable North American butterflies. It inhabits a wide variety of open, sunny landscapes including old fields, roadsides, utility corridors, gardens, parks, yards, fallow agricultural land, scrubs, pine savannas, and weedlots. Fingerpainting:
From the name it's clear that using this technique you have to apply paint with your fingers. According to Wikipedia, it was originally formulated in 1931 as an art education medium for small children. You can find a special non-toxic paint to be used or you can prepare it yourself from flour or cornstarch.

Dodd Hall is a historic structure on the campus of The Florida State University in Tallahassee, in the U.S. state of Florida. The building currently houses the Department of Religion offices for Florida State University. The building is also home to the Heritage Museum and an ornate exemplification of Collegiate Gothic architecture.
This building was constructed in the Collegiate Gothic style of architecture and was built in 1923 to serve as the library for the Florida State College for Women. A smaller west wing was constructed in 1925, while larger south and east wings were built between 1928 and 1929.
Above the main entrance is the phrase, “The half of knowledge is to know where to find knowledge.” inside the lobby is a painted ceiling and a large mural donated by the Class of 1949, “The University, Sunrise to Sunset” by Artemis Housewright, an FSU alumna. The artwork depicts school history as well as local fauna and flora.
It was FSU's main library until the Strozier Library was constructed in 1956. After the library moved to Strozier, the building was home to the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Philosophy and WFSU-TV, which housed its studio there from 1960 until 1982. The building was named in 1961 for William George Dodd, an English professor who accepted a position with the FSCW in 1910 and became Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences until 1944.
The Claude and Mildred Pepper Library opened in 1985 at Dodd Hall. It remained there until the new Pepper Center was dedicated in 1998.
Dodd Hall received a complete renovation in 1991 but retained both exterior and interior architectural integrity as did its' Auditorium, completed in 1993.
The Werkmeister Humanities Reading Room opened in 1991 as a quiet place for student study in Dodd Hall's west wing. It was named for Professor William H. Werkmeister and his wife, Dr. Lucyle T. Werkmeister in the Department of Philosophy. The professor was one of the nation’s foremost authorities in the field of philosophy and authored the book, "History of Philosophical Ideas in America", printed in 1949. Department lectures and symposia were often held in Werkmeister. On October 31, 1997, the Werkmeister Window was unveiled and dedicated. Design was by Professor Emeritus Ivan Johnson, crafted by Bob and JoAnn Bischoff and depicts four well-known FSU buildings. The window took a decade to build and is composed of over 10,000 glass pieces. It stands 22 feet tall, ten feet wide and completed the first phase of renovation.
For the eleventh annual Heritage Day, sixteen stained glass windows were unveiled and dedicated on April 8, 2011, in the Werkmeister. The windows were created by students enrolled in the Master Craftsman Program at FSU over a dozen years with money from private gifts and donations of individuals, classes and other groups. Six different groups of students worked on the windows, guided by Bob and JoAnn Bischoff.
In the years since, the Master Craftsman Studio continues their work creating and installing leaded-glass Commemorative Windows in the Heritage Museum of Dodd Hall.

“What's your name,' Coraline asked the cat.
'Look, I'm Coraline. Okay?'
'Cats don't have names,' it said.
'No?' said Coraline.
'No,' said the cat. 'Now you people have names. That's because you don't know who you are. We know who we are, so we don't need names.”

Silvereye
Scientific Name: Zosterops lateralis
Description: The Silvereye is a small bird with a conspicuous ring of white feathers around the eye, and belongs to a group of birds known as white-eyes. The Silvereye shows interesting plumage variations across its range. The grey back and olive-green head and wings are found in birds through the east, while western birds have a uniformly olive-green back. Breeding birds of the east coast have yellow throats, pale buff flanks (side of the belly) and white on the undertail. Tasmanian birds have grey throats, chestnut flanks and yellow on the undertail. To complicate this, the birds in the east have regular migrations within Australia and may replace each other in their different areas for parts of the year. Birds in Western Australia have yellowish olive, rather than grey, backs.
Similar species: There is only one similar species found on Australia's mainland. The Yellow White-eye, Z. luteus, lives in Australia's north and north-west. It is more brightly coloured above, is lemon yellow below and has a smaller white eye-ring. The ranges of the two species do overlap slightly.
Distribution: Silvereyes are more common in the south-east of Australia, but their range extends from Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, through the south and south-west to about Shark Bay, Western Australia. They are also found in Tasmania.
Habitat: Silvereyes may occur in almost any wooded habitat, especially commercial orchards and urban parks and gardens.
Seasonal movements: In the south of their range, Silvereyes move north each autumn, and move back south in late winter to breed. Although one of Australia's smallest birds, the Silvereye is capable of travelling great distances during migration, with Silvereyes from the most southerly regions of Tasmania travelling all the way up to Southern Queensland.
Feeding: Silvereyes feed on insect prey and large amounts of fruit and nectar, making them occasional pests of commercial orchards. Birds are seen alone, in pairs or small flocks during the breeding season, but form large flocks in the winter months.
Breeding: Silvereye pairs actively defend a small territory. The nest is a small, neatly woven cup of grasses, hair, and other fine vegetation, bound with spider web. It is placed in a horizontal tree fork up to 5m above the ground. The nest is constructed by both sexes, who both also incubate the bluish-green eggs. If conditions are suitable two to three clutches will be raised in a season.
Calls: The contact call, a thin "psip", is given persistently.
Minimum Size: 10cm
Maximum Size: 12cm
Average size: 11cm
Average weight: 11g
Breeding season: August to February; later in the north
Clutch Size: 2 to 3, rarely 4
