I hate that damn Wii Fit! Yesterday it had to remind me of how much weight I've gained since the last time I was on it...I think it should take into account that we have also had Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years...the time I eat the MOST! =)
It's official - you can now take photos in Durham Cathedral - best hurry on down in case there is a change of policy!
No, I didn't go swimming, but that is my shadow, and you can see the little dipper in the sky, and there you have the title. I shot this just as the ferry was coming in for the last run to Kingston.
The fallen flowers have not been swept away by the wind. The laburnums fallen full sun yellow flowers mimic the fullness of the mid day sun, symbol of wordly love,
the coolness the laburnum tree brings is inexplainable......
30 years ago, he might have been running on those streets, full of life and a raging passion, willing to change the world...
But the world most probably wound up changing him... And those who stood around him, the dreamers, woke up and vanished. I wonder if you still have it in you to dream, brave man... and hope in my hear that you'll never give up.

two different kinds of ewe's cheese, one soft, the other not so soft, with honey, to be eaten with a crêpe called a fteh (or maybe it was ftah) - a delicious experience. And little round cakes, I didn't have one of those, Sir Cam ;-)

Today is my Darling Craig's 40th Birthday...
These are some of my favourite shots of him...
On the left... our shadows out having some fun together..
In the middle... my two favourite boys chilling out in the sunshine...
On the right... Craig and his Ferrari Cake I made for his 30th!
I couldn't quite afford a 'real' one... but he seemed pretty pleased with this at the time!
STILL can't afford a real one... but it's the thought that counts.... right?
He may be 40.. but he's still a big kid... and that's what I love about him...
I'm taking the day off work... not sure what we'll do yet... Chill out and have some fun!
He's also a big 'Pink Floyd' fan like me... so....
I daydream very hard upon the wish that all the river-water in the world were the same fine colour as what the Sandusky River's water is.
The Sandusky River is barreling toward Lake Erie and it's gonna give Lake Erie a powerful shot of murky light-brown. I wish it wouldn't get diluted in the lake, because I have always wished that Niagara Falls were the colour of the Sandusky River.

Even more options!! The same shot taken with my lomo fisheye.
With the newly renovated track and synthetic turf field, the colors were really vivid on this sunny late summer evening. Hence, I noticed my really cool shadow standing out. I'm tall, but this really accentuates it a bit!
Listen - There is a sound beyond every sound, and there is a face almost glimpsed, like a friends, when shadows move.

It isn't unusual for gas stations to have people living in houses next-door to them and getting the gasfumes and the bright fluorescents into their bedrooms and here's yet another example I noticed in Wellsville Ohio which is a widely-known settlement. Do you notice the setting sunshine of last Dec 23.

While in Yokohama visiting family my niece spotted this fish swimming around a little pond at her big sisters school. This photo turned out way better then I expected.
