For this bracelet I used the "day and night" quilt pattern by Jinny Beyer as template. The pattern was created using a modification of the matrix cane technique by Dan Cornier. Für dieses Armband habe ich ein Quilt Muster von Jinny Beyer als Vorlage verwendet. Das Muster habe ich nach einer modifizierten Matrix Cane Technik von Dan Cormier gearbeitet.

Visit to the June 20, 2015 Motor Muster at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. This car show takes place every Father's Day weekend and features cars built between 1933 and the late seventies. I attended with my flickr contact Granttt73, who was visiting Michigan from his home in California.

This is my entry for Muster Mixer number 6, Xplode and Fife. I decided to soften and round the Xplode so that it can more easily Morph into Fife. I had been noticing some beautiful tiles using blue on the Rennaissance tiles and decided I wanted me some of that too!

I had a look on the top of my heater and tought, it could be slightly warmer in here. And than I saw the pattern on top of the heater. The bavarian word for cuddly, my wish that moment, is "kuschelig". So I named this pattern "Kuschl".

Girgarre. Population 190.
Girgarre is a 20th century town started in 1917 as Stanhope North which was changed to Girgarre within a couple of years. It never grew much until the 1950s. It was a dairying town surrounded by small family run dairies until the large dairy factory closed in 1979 after Britain joined the EU and then it became a Heinz factory but it too closed in 2012. But the town was not ready to die. It has a smaller new dairy factory now and a local teacher set up a Development Committee. They started a Farmers’ Market and a Moosic Muster which has become the annual Girgarre Moosic Muster. The district still has plenty of dairy farms! The muster teaches guitar, mandolin, band playing and harmony singing. The Committee also received a grant of land from the former Heinz factory and a $17million grant to establish a local botanic garden with a soundshell for concerts. The town now has monthly music events. There might not be much to see in Girgarre on a quiet Sunday but it is worth a visit just appreciate the town folk’s spirit and enthusiasm. The Girgarre memorial Hall was built to honour World war One Soldiers in 1921. The nearby town of Stanhope now calls itself the legendairy town of Victoria and it has a large dairy factory like most towns in this region.
