On the subject of Bows and Buttons, I decided on the first time for the bows. But I particularly like clear, geometric shapes and patterns, and it tempts me to try it this time with the buttons.
Beim Thema Bows and Buttons habe ich mich beim ersten Mal für die Schleifen entschieden. Doch mir gefallen besonders klare, geometrische Formen und Muster, und da reizt es mich, es diesmal mit den Knöpfen zu versuchen.

The chattering of Starlings as they gather in small groups ust days before the fly and join up with thousands more is unmistakable and you wonder what exactly they are saying to one another.....

At first glance the very young Kelpie sheep dog appears to be doing her job mustering the sheep. However, she is actually blocking them from crossing the bridge, much to the frustration of my brother on the other side who, with the help of his other much more experienced dogs, was trying to get them across. The sheep did eventually get across and on to the woolshed where they were awaiting crutching, which I described in my previous photo. All was forgiven and my brother maintains that young Jezebel (her name) shows great promise. Not that morning though.

Apparently the 1903 stands for Aberdeen's first season in Scottish football, the club having been established in April 1903 following a merger of three local clubs, Orion, Victoria United and the original Aberdeen F.C. Who knew!
I haven't been so well recently, this is the only picture I think I can muster this weekend. I hope everyone has a safe and pleasant Christmas with friends and family! 💕
