So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.
Built for this summer's Small Starfighter Contest where the challenge is to build a starfighter that fits a minifig but also is no larger than 14x14x6 studs in size. This is also a bit of a warmup for the 1st fighter for team CIRCORP in the latest round of the Starfighter Telephone Game.
The aesthetic is, I guess, pretty mean and intimidating and heavily armoured - particularly to the rear for when it's running the hell away from whatever awful mess it has caused.

Happy Halloween...?
A rather brief project of mine. I'm aware that she's not as good as my other stuff has been, but it was still REALLY fun to make her. She uses almost completely parts from 2015/16 Bionicle sets, with some obvious additions (the knife and tires come to mind). Pretty much everything else is from one of the sets. In addition, she's based both off Umarak (rather obviously), as well as the Demon Hunter class from Diablo III (which would be pretty obvious if you've played the game much as them, given their use of crossbows, knives, and tactical traps). I tried to reference as many of the Demon Hunter's abilities as possible, although in the end I only pulled out references to Rapid Fire, Impale, Fan of Knives, Caltrops, and Spike Trap, and Multishot (kinda on that last one, seeing as the bow retains the original function).
That's pretty much it. Not really a full on Halloween MOC, but it seemed pretty fitting and she was a blast to make. I don't think I'll be making any more in these style for a while, but I'm not ruling it out entirely.
Next up is HOPEFULLY finally a villain to contend with all those protagonists I've made recently. The gunslinger is getting impatient, after all.
OH, and before I forget, the foot design credit goes to Meskii/Alieraah. Really simple but hey, I needed tiny heels because Demon Hunter. Don't listen to anybody, it's DEFINITELY 100% practical to fight the forces of Hell in high heels.

El Templo de Debod es un templo egipcio de 2200 años de antigüedad (Madrid no llega a los mil) salvado de las aguas del lago Nasser (presa de Asuan), regalado a España por Egipto en 1972, en agradecimiento por la ayuda española en el rescate del templo de Abu Simbel. Es muy fotogénico, como se ve.
Debod Temple is an egyptian temple 2200 years old (Madrid is under 1000 yr old), salvaged from the waters of Nasser Lake (Aswan Dam), donated to Spain in 1972 by Egypt in acknowledge for the spanish help in the rescue of Abu Simbel Temple. It is quite picturesque, as can be seen.

Some believe that the huge Sitka spruce was simply shaped by natural conditions such as extreme weather. However, it was Native Americans in the area who trained the tree into its cage-like assortment of thick vertical trunks. Such trees are common in the Pacific Northwest, and are known as culturally modified trees. Native Americans created the tree to hold canoes with corpses, in a practice known as “tree burial.”
I tried a multi-shot pano to try to capture the scale of this massive tree, but I think the result actually seems to minimize it. Lesson learned. I should use a corpse in the frame...

Sunset tonight was incredible. I got so many shots, it was hard to choose. This is a handheld 8-shot vertical panorama with my Canon 7D Mark II and Tamron 17-50/2.8, stitched with Microsoft Image Composite Editor, and minor edits in ACDsee Ultimate 2018.
Here is my first attempt at a multiplicity photo and self portrait.
I set up my camera on a tripod and used a remote shutter release to fire off a burst of shots. i then used Photoshop to create a single image file.
I think it turned out well especially as it was a self portrait. Unfortunatly the light levels meant that i couldn't use a fast enough shutter speed or apature and i'm a little out of focus

The Imminent Impact Rifle is a weapon that goes slightly off tangent with what the primary arsenal of the Ntryksis has in store. Instead of a physics-defying non-baryonic weapon, the Imminent Impact Rifle is a multishot rifle, utilizing electric cores and an induction motor to generate electricity to blast targets with.
Designed to be part of a secondary arsenal, should the primary non-baryonic based weapons ever fail, the Imminent Impact Rifle is a weapon built to be made easily, yet made to be powerful. Comprised of mostly salvaged parts from disassembled weaponry, and reforged materials, the gun isn't as durable or resilient as the rest of the Ntryksis weaponry. However, unlike other weapons, this weapon doesn't require valuable resources, and hence, can be mass-produced efficiently and quickly.
The weapon, when firing, charges up its energy cores, building up enough electricity and firing it out with immense power, creating an extraordinary muzzle velocity rivaling that of even railguns. The Imminent Impact Rifle fires four shots at once, which, uniquely, has the ability to ricochet off surfaces. It's unknown exactly how this ricochet happens, but studies suggest that the weapon might be firing a projectile along with the electricity.
A scope comes standard with the IIR, which provides a HUD, as well as a holographic artificial rangefinder reticle to assist shooters in picking out targets. Two holographic lines also emit out of the weapon, serving as boundaries in which the projectiles will travel in; these can be adjusted to be in an arc, causing the rifle to turn into a shotgun if desired, or closed to a straight line to make an accurate rifle.
