We had an invitation for playing some games and eat together. One friend of us has a nearly 4 years old very cute daughter, and while eating she discovered the basil pesto. Obviously she didn't know that, so she asked if she might taste it. It was very funny, because she must have thought that the green paste must be spinach. In germany the words for spinach (SPINAT) and to do the splits (SPAGAT) sounds very similar, so she asked for tasting doing the splits.

I had to buy this grandma-bag. I had some justifications for this. The one is, that the bag was sold for a 50% reduced price and the other was that I've got many bags practical for biking (messenger bags, backpacks), but not a bag like this. Anybody here who wants to disagree? ;-)

I’ve been a long time digital artists, working almost exclusively in photoshop to create my art. It’s interesting how life can change though, migraines and other chronic illness problems have made sitting at a computer and looking a screens difficult. I’ve much preferred traditional medias of late, and feel a great adversity has also allowed me to explore some other parts of myself.
Hey guys! So this concept actually started off of something I doodled while I was "working" on homework. She was originally drawn to look more like a Winx character, but in this final sketch I gave her more of an anime look. I love how this came out.
I started out by drawing her with a Copic multiliner (I hate inking over pencil lines and erasing them so I just started with the mulitliner) then colored her with some Copic markers. I tried blending colors and using some techniques I learned in some YouTube videos.
The markers did bleed out a little farther than I wanted them to in some cases, so I did fix some stuff up in Photoshop.
Also, when I went to color her lips I thought I had blue ( I wanted to try something kind of out there) but NO I was actually holding a dark grey. After kind of fixing the problem I was left with an unwanted peach/grey color around her lips, which I fixed in Photoshop.
I made a concertina book of ten pages to sketch pipes. Five pages have been completed over three sessions, two of which were at Cockatoo Island, the other at Lilyfield. The book is about 8" square.
