City Time Line Ghosts - Timescapes by Daniel Arrhakis (2022)

After Khelfereon's Theory of Timelines and Communicating Temporal Planes, the development of time travel was possible.
However, it was soon realized that the multidimensional complexity went far beyond the known spatial geometries and in many cases the planes overlap, resulting in lines and points where it is possible to see different timescapes and simultaneous events.
The Time Keepers knew from the very beginning that only through long and difficult training was it possible to travel without their travelers getting lost in the intricate webs of time
and make their interaction minimal and focused.
For this purpose, guardians with very special skills were choose and trained and whose exceptional mental concentration equaled the speed of decision and courage in the face of the challenges.
Thus came the Guardians of Future Events or the Chronvengers, mystical guardians who traverse timelines as time travelers but on a mission to avenge events of the past... in an attempt to preserve the future of societies.
They more than anyone can distinguish the temporal noises or "Strepitors", shadows of temporal landscapes with their constructions and their inhabitants that have already ceased to exist.
In many cases the time-point interaction can be very real and even fatal... but that's a subject for another time... for other stories...

Barkley is quite secure in his manhood (doghood). And other than requests for food, play, affection, and people to love on, he asks for very little. He really is low maintanence.
A few weeks back I posted a close-up picture of him being delightfully tortured by a mouthful of peanut butter. The humor in the photo was not lost on him and he, too, laughed.
But in recent days he has been polite in requesting an action photo of him be posted. He wants the Flickr-Universe to know that he is a multidimensional Lab-Boxer mix with more than a sense of humor; he possesses athleticism, adventure, and bravery.
Barkley, you give so much to this family, the least I can do is honor your wish.

Oh, how I love this sweet girl!
Sweet, you say? But isn't she known as the most ferocious animal at the Zoo? Yep. I respect Nindiri's strength, and I appreciate her feisty attitude. But I've seen her be adorably cute for the keepers she trusts and who care for her so well. And I've seen her be goofy and playful while raising her cubs. I'll never forget how she encouraged her boy, Valerio, to get into her giant bowl shaped toy, just so she could drag him all around her exhibit like it was a red wagon. Nindiri is a multidimensional cat with a big personality to match the scale of her beauty, and I'm so glad she's still full of energy and spunk as she nears her 18th birthday in June.
She's earned her reputation of being all Jaguar and not to be messed with, so I probably shouldn't let the cat out of the bag about her sweetness... We'll just keep it between you & me, okay? ð

I enjoyed spending some quality time with this amazing girl while she relaxed inside her cave, just a window between us.
She's having a birthday soon, on June 27th, and will be 17. She's still full of energy - a little firecracker and a wild jaguar through and through. I've loved Nindiri from the first time I saw her, when she first came to the SD Zoo in 2008, almost a year old then. I've had the privilege of watching her raise three precious cubs from two litters, and seeing the loving, goofy, & highly intelligent sides of her multidimensional personality shine. She's captured my heart and and has my full respect!

Today's story and sketch "by me" began normally, well not really normally sense Rescue Randy had his inventor friend Dr Bestuuga install the "MCCCC", Man Cave Cerebral Command Console, which I refused to use this morning, after yesterday's flood of incoming intergalactic messages made my brain feel like it was fried. Actually when the Cerebral Cortex Helmet started smoking it smelled like a bucket of the colonels fried chicken on my head. So today I volunteered Cosmo our official Man Cave Posse photographer to man up, and take over duty at the MCCCC command console, Cosmo is actually a super intelligent Martian Beaked Being and all around good volunteer for dangerous assignments, and Cosmo only requires ninety minutes sleep a day. With Cosmo in charge of intergalactic and multidimensional communications, my wife and I, seen above departed to dimension seven for a picnic at our favorite secret spot, which as you can see is no longer secret. Today's story and sketch "by me", as you can see I am out of the Man Cave, I am testing the "Zoom" the newest addition to the Man Caves multidimensional, interstellar, Sport Glider collection, it was custom built to my design by "FSU" Flying Stuff Universities, "ATTGARF", advanced things that go anywhere really fast division. I have just arrived at the Planet Dangoo the last stop at the end of the Cosmos, famous for the finest fish taco's in the Galaxy. You may have read about "FTSATEOTG" the fish taco stand at the end of the galaxy. I made reservations for one o'clock today, for myself and two of the Beaked Seekers that rescued Randy after he crash landed on the Planet Obimpi while riding an experimental "NPSS", nuclear powered speed stick, capable of multidimensional travel at unbelievable speed. The best way to describe the NPSS, imagine a witch riding a really fast broom. Randy was doing what should have been a simple loop de loop maneuver, when at the high point of the de'loop, the NPSS lost power, Randy and the NPSS fell to the surface of Obimpi at somewhere around Fifteen hundred miles an hour. It was only dumb luck the Seekers happened to be watching a dude riding a broom, heading quickly towards the Planet's surface, the Seekers both experienced EMT'S, rushed to the crash site crater, and instantly recognized the dude with a mustache wearing a " MTGGA", Make The Galaxy Great Again crash helmet. The Seekers knew it was Randy, dug him out separating him and his crash test dummy back pack from the NPSS. The Seekers quickly buillt a triage shelter, just before a micro meteor shower arrived, the meteor shower show was spectacular, luckily only ten percent of the golf sized meteors reached the Planet's surface, recording the event was the reason they happened to be near Obimpi to record it for their UTube channel. After a few days Randy was recovered enough to travel, the Seekers dropped Randy of at a Martian rehabilitation center, where he is doing fine, Randy asked me to treat the Seekers to a Fish Taco lunch, and as you can see we just met at the rendezvous point, and are off to lunch. Had not used my Nicca 5L for awhile, and had forgotten how nice the 50mm f2 Nikkor is. Also, having a separate viewfinder and rangefinder slowed things down, which was very satisfying. The winds downtown were incredibly gusty, up to 40 mph, so lots of steadying needed. At least the temps were warm enough not to have to wear gloves. Thanks to the flickerans who continue to inspire. I am constantly amazed how really talented you all are.

My Hair has been driving me nuts lately,so it was time for a change.
I impulsively called the salon yesterday seeing if they could fit me in for a cut, turns out they also had time for a colour.
With my Christmas & Birthday money, I decided to splurge and treat myself to something new.
I had to convince the stylist to chop so much and to add the colours I wanted, but after coaxing her along, she finally joined me on the "this is awesome" side.
