The world around me appeared to me like a book with colorful illustrations, apart from my own. A monochrome illustration in a polychrome book.
Whenever I would effort to colorize my illustration according the book, it would turn monochrome. Thus, I would never resemble the world. Therefore, I have my own book. The book of polychrome illustrations, including mine. A book with a multitude of colors, in which absolutely everything is precisely as it is meant to be. Multidimensional and multifaceted. This is who I am. That’s the place I am from. If they like it or not doesn’t matter since they are not relevant for the story.

“The Wave” – A journey to the end of the pier
Everybody is cordially invited to a multidimensional journey taking place in the harbour of Copenhagen. The Wave – an interactive sound- and light installation spanning 80 metres – will add a much-needed light on Ofelia Plads during the entire Frost Festival. “The Wave” is on all days from 4th-26th February 2017.
The installation ”The Wave” has been devopled by internationally renowned light design collective Obscura Vertigo. Its conception was promoted by Frost Festival and the Ofelia Plads association who jointly strive to create cultural experiences during Winter, manifested in the form of an art installation on Ofelia Plads, Copenhagen

There is nothing quite like going up to the rooftop terrace of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Summer. It's like being at a giant party where you don't necessarily know many of the guests but you're there and happy to be.
With a stunning view over the trees of Central Park and the tops of the premium apartment buildings of 5th Avenue poking their heads over the trees to the left, the southern border of the Park giving way to the massive structures of Midtown Manhattan and the silhouetted signature apartments on the Upper West Side completing the wrap around. It's a stunning view and especially so in the evening.
A signature and restful spot. An island in an ocean of trees with the 'mountains' of the city to the south. Again, very special thanks to Robin Thomson of New York, who made the trip and all of the "Manhattan" pictures possible.

Here you can see the project is more than 50% complete. Take notice the numbers on the colored triangles. These correspond to the same colored Pentagonal pyramids that make up the rotunda walls. When we assembled the colored triangle units and the pentagonal pyramids we numbered them so assembly would be easier. These numbered faces will not be visible once the model is complete.

One last final daytime "tumble" of Times Square before a few night time views of the same. In this view we have one last extreme bending and distorting of single view planarity, suggesting, as I do with this technique, that what we know as 'reality' is a construct put together by our filtering brains in order for us to navigate on one safe and familiar level.
Yet science tells us that at the Quantum level there are at least 11 dimensions that have been confirmed as existing. At that level reality is an undifferentiated mass of potential, virtual realities. Yet, once we observe at that level, one single 'choice' becomes available and clicks into specificity, returning the rest to potential.
So the world that we know may, it turns out, be a consensus, a 'choice' that's been reinforced and expanded on as we move forward with it. The coming Quantum Age will be about seeing that the world, reality or the universe is not random, that it is very very finely tuned and constructed unquestionably for the creation and sustaining of life.
Anyone interested in investigating these ideas might find Ervin Laszlo's seminal book, "Science and the Akashic Field" a very readable and exciting exploration of the Quantum world and what a true understanding of its significances can have on a radically new and life affirming future that is ours to create.
Our daily choices affect reality as each one clicks a certain aspect of reality into existence. We can literally create a beautiful, life enhancing existence or an unmitigated hell, individually and collectively then. The choice is up to us each moment of the day.

Coral Reefs (récifs coralliens) :
Le Florida Reef Tract est la troisième plus grande barrière de corail du monde, s'étendant sur 360 miles le long de la côte sud-est de la Floride. De nombreux facteurs de stress entraînent le déclin de ce récif, notamment des conditions d'eau de plus en plus chaudes et acides, la mort d'espèces symbiotiques clés et la maladie de perte de tissus coralliens pierreux (SCTLD). Bien que la cause du SCTLD soit encore inconnue, il s'étend maintenant sur presque tout le récif et a touché 22 espèces de coraux durs, dont beaucoup souffrent d'une mortalité complète. Afin de sauver le Florida Reef Tract, des actions immédiates, multidimensionnelles et innovantes doivent être mises en œuvre. Coral Reefs - The Florida Aquarium :
The Florida Reef Tract is the third largest barrier reef in the world, stretching 360 miles along the southeast coast of Florida. Many stressors are causing the reef to decline, including increasingly hot and acidic water conditions, the death of key symbiotic species, and stony coral tissue loss disease (SCTLD). Although the cause of SCTLD is still unknown, it now spans almost the entire reef and has affected 22 species of hard coral, many of which suffer complete mortality. In order to save the Florida Reef Tract, immediate, multidimensional and innovative actions must be implemented. The Florida aquarium coral conservation program is effectively addressing the coral crisis by focusing its efforts on several interconnected strategies designed to: protect species that are approaching or threatened with extinction in the wild; increase coral reproduction rates, advance coral health and restore the Florida Reef Tract. The Florida Aquarium in 2019 was able to induce the laying of several species of Atlantic coral in the laboratory! These revolutionary advances, recognized worldwide, facilitate the ability to increase the genetic diversity of coral offspring, to conduct vital health research to improve techniques for caring for and growing corals, and therefore increasing the rates of spread of corals.

This wildly curvaceous orchid is called Chuck's Surprise. I think it looks like some multi-dimensional monster. Cool!
There are many stories in native cultures about this illusive black bird. Shamans know the power of an unexpected piercing sound in altering consciousness. Ravens exercise this power, emitting a variety of sounds and can aid us in shifting our consciousness into various dimensional realms. This is one reason why the raven is known as a shape shifter with magical powers. Anyone with raven as a totem can expect continual changes and spiritual awakenings throughout their life.
Raven picks its students according to their accumulated wisdom. It flies into a persons life carrying the energy of magic and healing. If it decides to settle in and take up residence, it will stay as long as necessary to aid you in transmuting your karma then return you to the light. It will push, prod, and lead you into the discovery of your multidimensional self and reunite you with the secrets of the multidimensional universe. Those with this totem should remember to meet raven, not with fear, but rather with an appreciation for the teachings that it holds.
Below are the 3 stages it took to create the image. I also downloaded a Raven brush which I used in photoshop. I am playing around a lot, filling my time whilst still stuck in bed recovering. The finished picture reminds me of images out of a story book my Mum and Grandad use to read to me. Wish I could remember it's name.

I use an Apple iPhone 4S with the panorama ( pano ) function on to make these distorted images. The 4S has its limitations though, which seem to have been corrected in the iPhone 6. The biggest limitation to the 4S is that it's a very poor camera in low light and, of course, at night. Once you get away from brightly lit situations images become very grainy. The darker it gets, the grainier the image. The iPhone 6 seems to have remedied that.
With this series, shot either in the early morning, or in the evening, when the light is still not quite so strong, I found these images to have a lot of "noise". Instead of rejecting them, I thought to use the grain and noise to enhance the dreaminess of the images and heighten the sense of unreality, or SURreality.
Here's one of the more successful evening shots.

Music Link: "Also Sprach Zarathustra" - Richard Strauss. The opening to his longer tone poem based on the work of Friederich Nietzsche of the same title. Who better to conduct this short, but by now iconic piece, but Herbert Von Karajan himself. Here he's at home with the Berlin Philharmonic, the world famous symphony orchestra that he lead for decades. There's something otherworldly about the Maestro as he conducts this piece. His is the look of an artist who sees into the profound depths of the music, far beyond the ken of most of us. Gives me shivers to watch him.
Why this piece? The dark central shape of the image is reminiscent of Clarke and Kubrick's "monolith", to me. The light serendipitously coming from behind that shape, hinting at solar alignments, made me think of it.
A good friend recently postulated something that shook me to the bones in a recent coffee conversation. He wondered if the mere shape of the monolith, a rectilinear object in 90 degree angles, something so utterly foreign to the world of nature may have been ENOUGH to spark the beginning of rapid evolution ( following Kubrick and Clarke's theme ) when it was seen by the proto-human apes. They would never have seen such a totally UN-natural form. Could that been the beginning of the abstract thought that lead to the rapid technological development that followed ?
My friend said something like, "what if that's all it was, a solid shape. No advanced technologies, or subsonic vibrations, just a simple shape?" Would it then follow, if we continue my friend's proposition, that shape, line, form, colour, texture etc all have a much more profound effect on our deeper consciousness than we realize at this point?
